Boys who have hobbies outside of their professions and use twitters and have realistic and loving relationships?? Blasphemy.
There were times when it edged towards sexual abuse (looking at you Shuuna for having sex with a man under the influence), but overall?? Very good??? Leagues above your average yaoi, for sure. And the art was gorgeous, love the whole aesthetic, nothing felt off.
Also entirely subjective but I relate super hard to Hiro, I too have issues with revenge and payback and emptiness. Good on you for finding love! It's hopeful.
Sexual abuse? He was drunk yes but gave consent, which is pretty fucking rare in the rape-filled yaoi world. I'm grateful for every consensual yaoi, we need more of that.
Consent was given! (OoO)/ Congrats you two, you passed the very basic "How to treat your partner like a human being" course!!
In all seriousness though, this was a very cute and interesting story. The eroticism of just touching hands was awesome, I love when artists are able to make "mundane" things hot haha
And on past lovers...yeah? A lot of people seem to not understand that unless something really catastrophic happens, most people will think fondly of the good times of their past lovers and will miss them from time to time, especially in cases of suicide! He's not a replacement, he's not trying to "fix" his partner, they're growing together, just like their garden.
It's 10x more attractive and exciting when the uke is feeling so good that he comes twice or three or four times in a row. So good.
On a reread, I remembered not liking the middle chapters so much because of how tonally different they were from A-chan and Robo-kun's story, but now that I know they're there, I enjoyed myself much more <X3
