It's honestly intrinsically important to me. A formative yaoi, haha...
Despite the toxic tropes, despite the tsundere cliches, despite everything, I adore this series. I've loved it for what's going on eight years. It's so deeply a part of me and I absolutely have nostalgia glasses for it, but if there was one yaoi manga that I could use to describe my tastes, it would be this one. Sheesh.
Ugh. I'll (hopefully) change my tune the more I get into this, but by all accounts I should not continue reading. It's been a while since a "sex" scene nauseated me, but that first penetration was just the worst. This poor sunbae, I swear he either doesn't know he's being raped (which he does??) or he doesn't know that he can get help. I wanted him to actually make good on that kill threat. The "falling in love with one's rapist" is such a gross trope and done to death.
Nope I still hate it

You pos people deserve each other, Minjae run, go find yourself a proper boyfriend
This being the second time I've read it, it makes much more sense. I remember the first time I read it, I thought it was just a BDSM themed vampire "romance" but nope. Soooo much more than that, and thank goodness. It's a tad on the cliched side, but it mixes in enough interesting new lore and whatnot that I'm definitely willing to forgive it. This being the second time, all the foreshadowing wasn't lost on me haha. The love quintexicon is dizzying after a while, but it certainly keeps things interesting. Also I only just realized that Shell is at least 8 years older than Eric, whoopsies. That's a weird thought.
Are some people actually unclear as to whether Eric survived? What do you think that "special ingredient" in the now three-year-old perfume is?
Anyhow, excellent series. I adore all the colours, the eyes especially.
It was kinda hard to get into. Weirdly translated or written, dunno, but I feel like this is a "better the second time" kinda deal. I did like that it was a slow burn relationship until they actually did the do but considering how early on they were messing with each other, especially Honda, eh?? Oddly paced I suppose
As sweet and cute and beautiful as they are.....I didn't want a flashback!! ;0;
Yeah looks like it was a flashback to the time Aoi went into labour.
It's a pretty good chapter, we get to see that that Miyauchi has actually been hopelessly in love with kudou for a while now. With that new fake omega guy around, it must be so hard for him.
