The very rare instance of the uke who has been assaulted actually telling someone about it and of course, they're useless. On top of that, the seme is forcefully pushing his agenda onto him and not at all being patient even though he actively knows and made sure of his innocence. Talk about raising a lamb for slaughter.
Hoo boy. This series...wowie. I didn't know a manhwa could take me through so many emotions.
I cried a few times reading this. The first one was the hardest. I have a half brother who's mom hates me, and because of that I've had to cut down on how often I visit because of how emotionally draining it was for me. Reading about what a good sister Min Ji was just...it really hit home hard. He's not quite old enough to really understand why I can't be around his mom yet, but just thinking about how he viewed me, through Min Ji's eyes, really affected me. I was so happy that she stayed with him and cared for him so much despite the way they'd been raised.
Other than that though, the rest was a good rollercoaster of emotions unrelated to my own real life situations haha. I'll admit I really didn't care for the "slutty bisexual" trope being used, and I really don't think his girlfriend should've stayed with him. But I was so proud of Min Gyeum for telling him off, that was very satisfying~ It is too bad how much he messed him up though, this poor boy. I hope Chun Sam is able to help him find his self-worth.
Also what is it about series that include vampires/start out with a *cough* blood bank and having some really heavy plots?? What's more is they start out silly and light-hearted and then suddenly spiral into some dark stuff! I'm not complaining, it's just...huh.
What an interesting pair~ I really enjoyed the story with Kota and Aniki but somehow this one feels more grounded while still having more cartoonish characters haha. Maybe because their romance is much more fraught with troubles. And surprisingly, the cheating subplot didn't bother me in the slightest - very rare. It was pulled off surprisingly smoothly, and with comedic effect. I don't think I'd seen that before, at the very least not so elegantly.
I absolutely need more of this. There's so many perfect story elements that I haven't seen in a lot of stories - the idea of bringing a "girlfriend" home, the jealousy and possessiveness, the two of them falling even more in love, a more in-depth study of masculinity and being true to one's self....the art??? Everything is so primed for an excellent however-many-parter but ;u; At least I can imagine what could have been.
Literally perfect except for that one scene at the beginning where Steve takes advantage of Eric??? Why you gotta ruin the mood like that you were 100% on everything else?????
Honestly though, ignoring that, their chemistry was amazing, and they as characters were super refreshing and interesting. Too bad the military plot didn't have a conclusion and the shaving was kinda random and silly, but overall super good.
I agree! The shaving thing was completely pointless, still funny though... i wish that chapter added to the Oroboros part of the story. I HATE how Manga and Anime villains seem to be freaking invincible! Sigh,,, (like Guaren from Full Metal Panic).
I want so much more of this manga! I could read about their obsessive devotion FOREVER!!!

I'm really not a fan of PWPs that try to shoehorn in a plot, but having my own familial issues just kinda confused my boner
