I hate when this happens. I totally fell in love with this manga and then I find out that there is a sequel except it's still ongoing and no one is scanlating it. *sad face*

Mangaupdates.com aka bakaupdates has a sequel listed. I have gotten in the habit of reading completed manga since I get tired of groups dropping projects half way through. It irks me to no end when I read a completed manga and find out there is a sequel or spin-off or even several and they are either ongoing, not scanlated, or dropped halfway.
Me too.. Just like a manga by Ogawa Chise.. i just can't leave it alone since it was the sequel of Udou and Miki.. so I took a peek.. and then it took forever to be updated.. now i can't rest in peace waiting for the continuation.. lately I just read complete manga.. it also annoying if the series got licensed when it reach the great part.. i mean, i will not go to manga reader if I can buy the hard copy TT^TT..
I buy copies when I can... mostly through Amazon since there really isn't a lot of yaoi sold where I live. I can only read English though and there is far fewer yaoi translated than other genres. I try to only put completed yaoi on my lists on here. I think the one exception is Koisuru Boukun simply because it's my favorite.

Wow, I just checked and manga updates says this series is on going (like the chinese raws say too) but so is the sequel? Whaaat. And the sequel it's called Akiyama-kun too so I'm guessing it can't be a spin-off? I don't really get it.
I thought this the last time I read Hima na no de Hajimete but the last chapter seems to have either a different translator or proofreader. The language wasn't as smooth (the other chapters were not perfect but the meaning came across) and the errors stood out even more. I do love the manga though and it's definitely on my 5 star list as well as my ultimate favorites.
Why don't you join them as a proofreader then?
Because I'm already a part of another scanlation group and this manga is complete so the original scanlation group isn't working on it anymore anyways.
I'm more than a little pissed off at the abrupt end where we get a half ass response to the confession. There was nothing resolved about the side story at all. It left me feeling sad and a bit angsty which is something I hate. I don't read things with the tragedy tag or that people say is angsty so now I'm mad about it.
Everyone keeps saying the editor falling in love is too abrupt but if you look for it you can see where he was already falling for the mangaka. Small things such as when the artist tells him he wants to stop having sex and instead the editor becomes really passionate. The editor also made it so the artist couldn't go off with the other mangaka at the reception. He rushed over in the middle of work leaving behind the well known mangaka because he thought the artist wanted to be together and was disappointed to find out it was a mistake. I love the seme even though he's cold and I think the artist is adorable. I'd certainly keep him as my uke hehe.

I guess you do need things spelt out for you. This was not a happy ending, sweetie pie. It would have been happier if the two had never got together in the first place. Yeah, abusive assholes can fall in love, it doesn't make them any less an asshole. And sometimes that just means that there are OTHER motives for things people do, things like what Tanaka does. Too bad you had to have that spelled out for ya, eh?

If you don't see the little gestures OR you simply didn't acknowledged them then fine by me but DO NOT go attacking other people who do notice these things. Look "Sweetie pie" people change. I've got quite a few friends who are complete Arsholes... My self included. But once we got to know one another we learned to open up and bite our tongue when the other person was being a complete Bitch because you know... That's what people do when they love someone whether it be romantically or that of a friend/family member. Besides I just like Arsholes...
