I love that Kaname makes it clear rape wasn't okay but sex because he wants to is. He draws a clear line with Ogata. I usually don't pay much attention to rape scenes in yaoi because it's such a common trope and there is no point whining about it but this is too awesome not to mention.

I totally agree, but I still didn't like that one.
I especially hate the "he raped me, now I realize how much I love him" ones.
The ending ruined this manga. I followed it for a long time and even worked on the last few chapters. When I saw the ending I didn't even want to release it because I knew how horrible it was and how much of a slap to the face of the fans it was. I keep hoping the mangaka will release an extra that shows her being in school was a joke and that she's actually a teacher also. Anything would have to be better. I'd rather they have killed her off rather than have her come back as his student.
Perfect shoujo for beginning/young manga readers. I own all three volumes and my oldest daughter loves re-reading it.
I started to read it then there was a reference at the bottom of one of the pages to read the prequel. I checked mangaupdates and the chapters in the prequel relating to this story have not been scanlated. There is also a sequel that hasn't been scanlated.

There are two more chapters Vol 2 ch 13&14 that complete the manga. The scanlation group has finished them but they have not been uploaded here yet. Mangaupdates has them finishing the last two chapters on January 18, 2015.

Tonari ni iru no ni tooi is on my ultimate favorites list. The only thing that could possibly make this manga even an ounce better would be to have Kondou and Sekimoto end up together in a sequel. Nagisa is the ultimate uke, sexy, sweet, and totally protective of his man.
