This manga was so good when it was listed as complete and they hadn't had sex or anything. Now with the newer chapters it feels so angsty and I really hate the direction it's going in.

I'm not a fan of incomplete manga but I've been running out of good completed stories. I do think the story is very cute but I'm frustrated that so much is missing. You can tell there are obviously chapters missing and Akira's story is only half ass explained because those are not in there properly either. I would really like to read this in the proper order with all the chapters.

I never bet on that. I've bought a lot of manga over the years and have ended up many times with incomplete sets because the company stops producing the English translations. Sometimes the license runs out but others the company retains the license but just doesn't feel it's profitable or they want to focus on other more "important" manga. Yaoi seems to fall through the cracks even more than shoujo does.

I don't start new series unless they are complete very often. I just feel like I'm going to end up regretting this one. It's so bloody cute.
I put off reading any chapters no matter how tempted I was since spring so that I could have a marathon read. I had left off at the part where they were in Guam. I had already been feeling weird about Shou ever since the location shoot with Vie Ghoul and now I'm having even more issues. He's nearly completely dropped the making her hate him thing and has gone into full on protector mode. It pisses me off that the mangaka did that because it makes him an ass but a likeable ass. I want to only cheer on Ren but at the same time my deluded brain thinks it's too bad she can't have both. It would be unique at least. Having a shoujo eventually end with the heroine having two male lovers. We know she's going to end up with Ren but now I actually feel bad for what's going to happen to Shou. I actually want him to end up with someone decent and have his playboy ways go away. Maybe he can be the godfather of Ren and Kyouko's future babies.
I think it's a set up for them to be friends. She's got to end up with Ren (or there's going to be hell to pay from the readers) but she and Shou could be great friends. Shou's confused his feelings for her - I think - because he cares deeply fro her and knew that she used to love him.
I can work with that and it would be even better if he ends up with one of her more difficult friends so he knows how it feels to deal with a girl who has standards and won't put up with his crap.
I've never seen senpai so hot as he was with his hair up, glasses off, all wet like that. *sigh*

I'm going to explain this as simply as possible. Yes SOME sites do get their chapters uploaded manually. However MANY sites use bots that automatically rip chapters as soon as they become available just about anywhere. For those sites unless the site itself puts a block to keep it from pulling chapters of that manga it will keep happening. The easiest way to find out if a site is like that is to check for a manga you KNOW has a chapter that had a second release because of an error and see if that new chapter has replaced the old one. Granted you need to do it before it's reported and fixed manually but mangago uses bots. My own groups chapters are on here.

Pretty much. My group did a little nasty surprise a few years ago before we changed our name and set all of our images as gifs. People could read it if they downloaded it but most of the sites that grabbed it with bots showed a loading icon on each page because their sites are not setup to handle gifs on their manga pages. This was one of the sites that ended up with the loading symbols lol. We don't do it anymore it was mainly our leader trolling the sites for a month or so.
Im just genuinely wondering don't you guys get more readership if the manga wind up on these sites? I'd think people would want them on here so your work gets appreciated by more readers. But this doesn't seem to be the case. Is it cause it feels like someone else taking credit?
Well yeah they probably do but it's their jobs. Authors(if youean them) work hard on drawing and the publishers give them their check you know?and all that jazz... If people just read it for free they don't really sell as much so no money. Less work for the author and eventually she probably gets fired. I would buy all these yaoi mangas I read if they where also available in the US but you know how it is...they should make a manga site like this one but with actual professionals and that you get to pay for more chapters :3
Oh right yeah no that makes sense and I feel like that should have occurred to me all by myself lol. Yeah ok thank you I'd been kinda curious but it's not like it hurts me to respect their wishes so I just figured there was a reason.
My group doesn't mind and we even upload to batoto ourselves. We just use to have a waiting period of a few days that sites didn't follow. Most scanlators stop translating a project if it's licensed and being released in their language. Exceptions are made for the incredibly popular series like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, ect. The only other time is when the group doesn't care which is rude to the mangaka or when it's licensed in their language but the company holding the license ends up not releasing volumes in their language after all. That happens frequently. I buy as much manga as I can afford to support the mangakas and my group tries to buy most of our raws as do many other groups. I think sites like these promote reading manga and nearly everyone I've become friends with buys manga often after reading it on a site like this and loving it so much they just had to have it. I like reading something first before deciding if I want to buy it since manga is expensive. One volume goes for up to $16 usd here.
