Oh I was a little confused at first, but I kept wishing he would get his memories of her . I hope he tells her how he really felt for her
I get that sometimes you have to test people or push things so people can be honest with themselves, etc BUT I think her doing this especially when Susan is out and about (she doesn't know that the b!tch is probably dead) is quite stupid. Also, she is quite aware that the Duke has had a bad past because of his stepmom. Adele has been annoying me for quite a few chaps because she seems different than when I first read the novel, but it seems that her fl halo is strong enough now that I'm picking up some arrogance from her and it's not a good look. Of course this is all my opinion. I'm hoping she gets knocked down a peg too.
She does seem very passive but also strong willed enough to actually try and quit which isn't something you see with typical fl's. I think she is passive because she didn't even bother to talk to her mom. She took what those step siblings said as gospel and that annoys me a bit. I get that they are powerful, but that's her mother...letting those step children chase her away like that
She did it for her mom...as long as my mom is happy type of thing...
I get that but how is she sure that's what her mom wants? Does she think her mom would be happier without her only child in her life? I think it still would've been best to talk to her mom instead of the route she took but then again, that's my opinion
I know what your saying, but I don't think her mom knows what was happening- My speculation is that she told her mom, I want to be independent and she should just be happy and not worry about it.... I know they do send messages to each other..
I'm kinda just hoping she will go berserk and unleash something that'll make the bad people of the kingdom fear her...
