Is there any chance that Zodiac actually a NPC in the game?
I mean, he was working as a doctor when suddenly it becomes a dungeon? Why only there? MC world never turn to dungeon, be it in the past or now.
I think, Zodiac is a NPC that realized his world was a game and couldn’t accept the death of his brother and comrades for a “mere game setting”.
That’s why he turned to be a serial killer that treat others like cannon-fodder just like the game treat him and his people.
That’s why he seems to know all the secret in the game because he keeps looping into the start of the game (the hospital becoming dungeon) and keeps trying to do different thing and, yes, become twisted..
And also that’s why, he confronted the MC because suddenly there is another player that know and beat him to some “things.” And realized MC is different and becomes something like “a clue” or “a helps” that could actually help him escape the loop.
Or I’m just tripping…
Me, as an Emperor:
“You think, I am that stupid to believe ‘it’s only coincidence’?”
“I know it was either Bharat- that deals with poison, or Sandar- that has clashed with my Empress for sugar.”
“Both of you, I’ll purge just one, just one family out of you two. I’ll give you one month to prove it was the other one’s scheme to serve as your own innocence.”
“Any other noble family that decides to fabricate evidences to help one of them will also be purged.”
“If the time limit passed, I’ll purged both family. If you both decide to team up, I’ll purged both family as treason.”
“Don’t worry about the empty seat of noble family. As you can see from my Empress, it seems like any commoner in the street will be more loyal and better noble than those who scheme to kill a harmless little princess.”
“Ah, one last thing. I might be a ‘temporary’ Emperor, so this decree is signed by both me and the next Emperor, and also the Wolf from the North and one other noble family.”
“So now… let the war to prove your own innocence, BEGIN!”

Yo I’ve thought this nice idea where Davy would ask Freya to give another stigmata (maybe a lower level one) to those saintess candidates and the one with freckles is chosen.
I’d like it very much seeing the blonde bitch crumble because, first, what Davy said would be the truth; saintess’ stigmata doesn’t necessarily “only one” and Goddess just doesn’t like the blonde bitch enough to give her stigmata. Second, blonde bitch needs to bow not only to Davy (which she didn’t) but also the girl she set aside because she was “lower” than her.
What a nice feeling ~
This kinda great.
Can’t wait for the next chapter!
Especially after the appearance of Slave Hunter, one of the best action actor “Jang Hyuk” and one of the best rom-com actor “Cha Tae Hyun”.. They are best friend of singer “Kim Jong Kook”, as his fan, if he also making an appearance here, I’m gonna rate this manhwa 5 stars no matter what lol
It’s kinda cheating I know.
But who cares? (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I think Franz’s character is a bit fickle..
He’s supposed to be the villain that cunning, willing to do anything to take Winterwald, even using people as tools. But the fact that he only neglects Dabi (his kid with Isabella) didn’t sit right with me.
I thought he’d kill the kid asap like the duel-nobleman. So in the prison scene, I thought it would be Isabella begging Judith she wanted to help her and got some revenge.
Don’t get me wrong. Of course I don’t want the kid to be killed. However it’s not about me. It’s about Franz’s character that depicted in this manhwa..
A Franz? That slippery mf? That Franz left the kid unattended? Forget “deleting” the kid aka evidence, he wasn’t even assigning a guard to keep him shunned?
I mean… he can’t be having parents love after all that right? It’s absurd.
But Isabella already said she gave birth to a son. Even if it came out as a lie, those noblemen who hate Winterwald would still try to dig more, imo.
And even if all that theory is true, I still wonder why he was not assigning someone to keep eye on the kid. Not necessarily a guard, but maybe some shady guy to make sure no one helping the kid.
Like how little Luca ended up do some miscellaneous thing to earn bread and survive. I thought that mf would plan meticulously so that no one would help the kid and make sure he died silently.
But of course, there’s also a chance the author will use the kid to bring that mf down and that’s why the kid should not die..
Just an opinion, I think maybe they decided to call her “illegitimate child” after FL’s mother died.
If I understand the translation correctly, imho the order must be something like this:
>FL’s parents fell in love and lived in the Empire
>FL’s father told the family (the Count) that FL’s mother was someone who helped him in the battlefield
>Pregnancy happened
>Met the respective King/Emperor/Leader of their countries, get accepted as a way to stop the wars
>The peace treaty made from the pregnancy supposed to be known only for both Leaders and the FL’s Parents
>But somehow, the younger princess found out, she announced the prophecy, cry cry cry me a river, and The North’s Leader forgave her
>But the older princess (FL’s mother) realized the scheme behind it tears and flee
>Go to Empire, stay there, and give birth in the estate (the Count’s house)
>This happened while the fam still didn’t know about the identity of FL’s mother
>FL’s mother back to North, pretended to lost the child and even lost her memories
>While FL staying with her father in the Empire
>The Count and fam didn’t know about this plan and thought FL’s mother abandoned her baby
>FL’s mother assassination
>The Emperor, the Duke, and FL’s father agree to do wars once more (the treaty broken)
>While in reality FL’s father only looking for the culprit that killed FL’s mother, the Duke knew and helped him by pushing him to be on the battlefield
>FL’s father meet FL’s mother’s loyal guard, some misunderstandings and get killed
>The Count blamed the Duke for pushing the wars again and again that it killed FL’s father in the end
>The Count decided to adopt the orphaned-baby-FL
>But the hair colour and facial features were too different than the fam/siblings
>Not to mention what kid could be happy with the fact her mother abandoned her and her father get killed by her mother’s brethren— or so I guessed
>The time of the Countess pregnancy was also something to think about (imo because of noblewoman usually had this tea parties, it would be hard to miss a pregnancy, no?)
>Thus the decision came to adopt her as illegitimate child
**second theory
The fam knew about the younger princess scheme. Rather than them finding out the FL’s mother indeed gave birth, and triggered another assassination, isn’t it better to let the world know she was “the Count’s mistake” while travelling to the North?
Thus, both FL’s father and the Count decided to register her as illegitimate child of the Count.
But if the second theory is true, it cannot explain why the Count hates the Duke.
While the first theory, where the Count didn’t know the plan, is more possible. The Count only know that the Duke was the one who keep pushing FL’s father to go to battlefield and hate him for that.
Now I know..
Rather than Angenas’ blood, their bad influence comes from all the women in Angenas. Like how come all the men have no spine while the women hold the reign tightly.. too tight it hurts themselves.
Somewhere in the family tree, a Angenas must have married a cruel ambitious woman and make the Angenas now.
