At first, actually I kinda suspicious with this Manhwa. U see, a person who abused or the very least lived in toxic-environment even without realizing it, tend to create multiple personality like stronger or braver or smarter or anything better than themselves (as I was one of them I know it too well)..
That's why I had a lit doubt of the ML's intention. I thought he was just using Ebony's split-personality for his own gain without properly knowing it-- what I mean is he literally didn't know about the illness and casually used her. But I am so glad... I am so glad I was wrong!! It seems Ebony was indeed a strong, brave and smart person. And the ML is only giving her the chance and nurture her to the true form she always capable to be.
Btw, these country or empire whatever the hell it is needed to be purged to the fullest gosh... there were so many unequal treatment between male-female in Manhwas but never once I was this pissed. Those men need to be castrated(╬￣皿￣)凸
And I was crying like a baby for the few past chapters before the "Retrial" scene because she is surrounded with such a kind ppl. I am overjoyed. How I wish I had them too in my time of need╮(￣▽￣)╭ LOL I blabbed too long.

Adding to all the things you said, the cat that Ebony didn't magically recover, and took time to build her confidence and personality really show the quality of this story. They weren't trying out a trope of the strong immutable woman, but that of a real person

I've read and followed this since ch. 1 because this was sooo good. I was hoping for a different ML but the Author don't seem to agree ╮(￣▽￣)╭ but I still tried to read it just because!

I read some spoiler and, yeah, couldn't accept it. I only dislike the choosen ML but now I also hate the way he'll make the relationship works. Basically just hurting one and another. It sucks.

1. The Crown Prince and Princess are 'silently' hating Estelle because God knows why. Eventho Estelle was real friendly towards them, they choose to hating her anyway. This point is okay, I mean good reads always have those kind of fools.
2. Emel, the man she was with since the day she had not even got her 1st period, would be Estelle's husband... But before that, he would back to his homeland so he could inherit his father's title. And after that he would climb the power ladder using the Crown Princess (who despise and hurt Estelle) by kissing her in front of Estelle's very own eyes. He plan it fully known the time and place.
