Nobody gives a fuck about this lowlife piece of shit like please enough with the flashbacks, Id rather see him get beat on by his dad

Fr and they better not try to use his back story to excuse his actions like this mf is a whole ass r@pist and he also beating on people knowing damn well how it feels since he went through it and I can't speak for the mc since everyone reacts to SA differently but it doesn't seem like it's being taken seriously like why did we brush past that so quickly. (Like they focused more on the guy who tried to kill him rather than his ex who r@ped him)

Is this manhwa good cuz I hear a lot of mixed opinions like does it have SA or shit like that?

honestly with any omegaverse trope or trope with a debt collector and guaranteer, just know there will be a TON of rape
even though i love the characters, storytelling, and relationship developments… the graphic sa and brutal treatment of the ml/others towards the mc is extremely triggering. the short answer for “is this story good” is if you can turn a blind eye to the ml’s actions- then sure. but imo he hasn’t done enough repenting to make up for a fraction for what he’s done. if you don’t mind dark romance then go for this, but just be warned it’s not lighthearted and fans do overly romanticize the ml lol

you gotta be more transparent because his redemption arc was really mid in comparison to his crimes and actions. i say this because you’re setting others up for high expectations going into this . im all for groveling and extremely apologetic/begging male leads but this guy did the bare minimum. he basically got a slap on the wrist

It's really hard to hate the seme because his personality is so charming. The redemption arc is good because it's clear that he is realizing how he feels and how he cant go back fix his mistakes. When I re read it I actually feel like he's not that bad... he's a gangster and they do bad things, he actually treats him great compared to other debtors even before he realized he loved him.if you don't like gang or mob stories with grey morality, don't read it. But besides the fact that he forced him, it's that or being sent to a brothel and being raped by tons of people. Like the seme doesn't have any obligation to save the uke but he does and yes he abuses that power at times but he still treats him better than any other debtor. And then he regrets in a very convincing matter even if he doesn't know how to fix it. It's realistic and hearwrenching, because you can't go back and you're scared of losing what you have. But anyway don't blame the seme too much for just doing his job... and even being nice about it for no reason. The job is just a shitty one and he can definitely seperate 'his people' from 'the others' and treat the others shitty with no guilt. But he's crazy for uke, just doesn't realize it in time to prevent regret. More than just groveling, a good redemption arc means acknowledging your mistakes and really regretting them. The uke didn't need to yell at him and explain everything. He realized and is regretting it on his own, trying to fix things. I prefer action over just apologizing and groveling, and next week they're gonna have their heart to heart. His redemption has happened without the uke complaining or fighting and that make it's way better in my opinion. Definitely read it

Yes, I read the book and there is rape/sa/non-con in it. And yes, I like the story, but I will NEVER recommend a rape/sa/non-con story to anyone and I hate people that reccomend rape/sa/non-con stories to others. People should decide themselves whether or not they read these stories. So, it is embarassing to see the long-ass comment by @nipsy all in an effort to justify the rape/sa/non-con to someone who is clearly reluctant to read the story. Just cringe.

What lol?? I have never recommend anything I read to anyone. I don’t judge myself or judge anybody else for what they read. I just said sex for money is a transaction not SA or grape. And this book doesn’t contain SA or grape this was a contact. Don’t like it, don’t read it. Is someone putting a pew pew to your head, telling u to read lol

I actually wasn't replying to you. I was replying to @nipsy who in their exact words said, "...His redemption has happened without the uke complaining or fighting and that make it's way better in my opinion. Definitely read it". I disagree with people recommending controversial stories with rape/sa/dubcon to others through dubious justifications like this. It's cringey and weird.

some of you are so wrong and aren’t able to be transparent about a triggering story
it’s okay to find stories with heavy rape uncomfortable BUT it’s also okay to still read stories with heavy rape. no one is being put on a pedestal if you dislike/like the webtoon. op was asking about if this contains sa and it’s not an exaggeration to say it was extremely brutal and the redemption arc was not as good as it’s made out to be. HOWEVER to say this story doesn’t contain rape because of the contract is batshit insane. eui was coerced and forced to pay a debt he didn’t owe through sex!!! this is a dangerous statement, rape can happen in any point of time if a person revokes consent omfg. so please don’t try to excuse what happened to him, because consent is not a legally binding thing ever- that’s not possible… and not only that you’re leaving out what happened to eui when tj had his rut?? if someone is asking you to be upfront about if a story contains sexual abuse/assault im begging yall (you know who you are) to be honest and not lie or excuse it

the ml is not morally grey… he’s done horrific things and improved how he treats one person lmao . we have to be better at how we analyze media. tj has done bad things and even enjoyed/wanted to do them, which makes him a bad person. also you’re giving so much grace to tj for learning empathy after realizing he’s been BRUTAL to someone he started to care about and just acknowledging actions or really regretting them isn’t enough. even if he revoked his previous conditions, that really isn’t full redemption even from an objective standpoint considering he still sa’s eui. all he’s done is take away the stuff he FORCED on mc like the rape contract and then put him in a better home… redemption arc is not for the person who inflicts pain it’s for the victim!!!!
im all for different opinions but yours have been so questionable and justify the rape or completely mischaracterize the ml/don’t hold him accountable. and before you get it twisted i enjoyed the story and still think they’re cute! the issue is that we shouldn’t romanticize it and be honest about what he’s done + how his redemption lacks a lot when we are trying to recommend the story to someone who’s literally only asking if this story contains sa- which is yes, so much

Money for sex is an agreement, legal or not, Eui is of age and had other options and chose the best one for him and his brother. I love the uke in this book he protected his brother and raised him when all the adults in his life failed big-time. Eui is a hero a badass not a SA/grape victim, Taeju was he’s best option and a hot seme, why not get paid for cumming. The car scene, when Taeju rut kicked in, that was consensual….what do you think the Omegaverse world is about, so no SA.

Eui used the options he had to protect himself and his brother. Eui is a hero not a victim, he stepped up when the adults in their life failed them big time. Sex work isn’t SA or grape, it was an exchange between adults, legal or not. Taeju was in rut and Eui is most likely his mate, that’s what the Qmegaverse world is about, it’s not SA. Don’t like it, don’t read it. That simple.

you are completely wrong. eui did not have a choice, the collectors give their debtors “options” until they wither down and end up choosing sex work because they either are mentally or physically exhausted and/or aren’t making a dent in their payment. the debt was eui’s fathers and even though they know it’s not his, tj forced him to pay it back through slave-method means???? he works basically 14 hour shifts (back to back from the morning til night) and has few hours where he can actually be there for his kid brother + raise him. just because it’s an exclusive agreement between two people, one is clearly holding all the power. his ENTIRE life in tj hands just so eui can breathe and not freak out over his brother potentially dying… like do you hear yourself??? eui is badass and cool but he is also a rape and SA victim!!! he didn’t do it by choice. he was coerced and forced to do sexual acts for money, that is rape in itself. even if he enjoys the act in the moment it doesn’t take away how he said no and didn’t even want to do it in the first place. the only reason, before the move in chapter, he asked to ever have sex is to beg for money after being terrified of not getting a big source of income. can we please not remove the context from these situations omg?
sorry but your statements actually disgust me so much . it’s fine to read and enjoy these stories where rape and sa are heavily apparent but to completely disregard it, then romanticize what happens to eui + not acknowledge his pain and suffering is horrible. omegaverse doesn’t excuse rape babes, and i don’t think you recall the car rut scene correctly because eui literally only did it after tj pressured and forced him to???? he was SO scared and sad and disgusted and HURT please tell me you remember this yes?

i think you need to grow up and also learn how to decipher opinions. everyone here agrees it’s okay to read stories with rape and sa and enjoy them. nothing is wrong with reading stories with bad shit that happens dude. THE ONLY PROBLEM is when people like you aren’t honest and mature enough to say when rape is rape. sex work IS rape when someone is forced to do it for survival!!! i don’t think you are ready to have this conversation and have a lot of reflection to do on sex work and the sex industry as a whole because this is NOT a good or valid opinion to have
eui is not a hero he is a victim of his circumstances, specifically his dad and his debt collector boyfriend and you have to call that out. do not act like they’re on equal grounds and that he wanted this. and uhhh being a “mate” doesn’t mean someone cannot be raped, abused, or assaulted by their partner. abo or not LMAO??? also i read it and i liked this ?????? doesn’t mean im gonna lie about the heavy rape and excuse or not acknowledge it like you. please be more self aware before spreading nasty rhetoric

This book is not grape or SA. Omg lol, reading a series or watching a series doesn’t in anyway suggest someone condones an illegal activity in real life, that’s the most ridiculous conclusion I have heard from a lot of these “so call”, it’s SA, right fights. It’s a cartoon lol. Read it, don’t read it. But to judge someone’s morality based on a genre, come on really lol. You realize omegaverse is not real, right. Lol. U folks are very entertaining, love

dude yes it is, it contains rape and sa help lol??? doesn’t make a story bad on its own!! yes!!! i keep saying i like and enjoy this webtoon. and BRUH NO ONE SAID THAT HELLO WHAT
NO ONE IS SAYING U CONDONE IT BY READING IT… please what are you talking about. idk how you reached that conclusion when that’s quite literally the opposite of what i said. you are deadass agreeing with me do you know that???? im extremely baffled because im saying it’s okay to read it and that it doesn’t define your morals blah blah blah HOWEVER its only a problem when people (like you) DONT ACKNOWLEDGE it and also romanticize it (saying the contract makes it consent). oh my god the yaoi brain rot is getting to you because you are completely misunderstanding my point and even directly ignored my opinion when we feel the same about it
The art is beautiful, but I dont get why authors think rape is necessary to push the plot forward, like damn wtff?? This had so much potential but it went to waste, save ur time and skip this if u don't like manhwas with SA/rape
I gave it too much grace, this shit doesn't have potential. It's just SA being used as a cheap excuse for them to interact, save ur time and read something else, there's no plot
