Ehmmm Brian is Soleite’s first love, the guy who taught him to stay among humans by basically taming him when he was a dragon. Plus, he’s the mastermind behind the rise of the city or Archaia, that Soleite rules. They shared a covenant that is supposed to bind their souls forever so when Brian is reincarnated, he will, in some way, go back to Soleite. This covenant is important for a dragon as he will be able to “talk about the past” as if time didn’t pass. Dragons’ life span is too long and they see their loved ones dying; with the covenant Sol lives in the hope to see Brian’s soul again. Ian is Brian’s soul’s reincarnation but he still has no memory of his past life.
