I kinda don't like how the FL's face changed as the chapters kept going, with her lips getting fatter and shorter in length like she had a botox, her eyes got super big too like a Bratz doll... You know, like how Kylie Jenner looks after getting plastic surgery. The men are drawn so nicely like they look hot, but the FL is drawn with eyeballs triple the size, with overly fat lips... Kinda makes her cute, but I wish they drew her more lady-ish, more hot rather than cutesy.
Also, I noticed the overly flowered and brightened background effects whenever the FL smiles or does something insignificant, and I know these kinds of effects are done to show how adorable or beautiful a character is being seen by other characters.... She's not drop dead gorgeous, but the overly beautified effects are kinda annoying --specially when it looks like the prince fell in love with her so fast with just those beautified panels of her smiling, yawning, (you know, insignificant movements).
I thought the story was going to focus on the FL trying to change her fate but instead the story is focused more on the romance.... And it's okay, but not just my cup of tea. I like to have a plot where the focus is the FL doing awesome stuff (like making friends with other female characters to build her support system, or focusing on a hobby that would help her financially, or hone skills, etc) and the romance as a cherry on top and not the sole focus.
At this point, it's not that exciting since we know by how things are going that the prince will fall in love with the FL, the father will be doting, the ex fiance will be obsessed and cause trouble.
Don't fight me, I'm just giving my opinion on how I experienced this story.

So I started reading this because someone recommended it and the first chapter was interesting BUT...
I found out after some research that this webtoon doesn't revolve around the story of the Empress in her remarried life, but will focus on her suffering as the wife who gets constantly dragged into the mess of her husband and her husband's concubine.
I am not down for a masochistic read on how the empress suffers all this shit and then the 1/4 end of the story (in the novel) is where they show her life gets better. The karma for the antagonists in the story wasn't even that satisfying in my opinion. So I think maybe I'm dropping this.
I don't need to keep on reading how Rashta gets to live her life ruining other people's lives and seeing the emperor have his cake and try to eat it too. Fuck that shit.

I've read most of the spoilers here, reddit, and the novelupdates forum.
The majority of the story of Remarried Empress is Navier being the Empress to Sovishit, when she gets remarried, that's the 1/4 end part of the story where Sovishit's life gets harder cause his new empress doesn't know anything (and understandably so, cause she wasn't raised to be an empress), and then yada yada yada... Navier's kids inherit both empire, husband's a moping regret on 2 legs.

For all the readers who are commenting here about suggestions to the author, you do know that Cibeles came here and commented on how she doesn't want her art here right? But you guys don't give two fucks.
Also, came back here to see the comments and just.... Ew. The art is very pretty, but again, the women are all damsels in distress, victimized and romanticized for their flat characterization. I was hoping Dana dies cause that character is flat and cringe like, if she was drawn ugly no one would care about her wishy washy personality.
And as per usual, people comment here as if the level of plot and characterization is god tier k drama worthy. Um, no. This ain't it.

Ok hear me out.
Yes, there's sexual tension as you read the new chapter but not because Dion is sexually attracted to Roxana.
This became apparent to me when Roxana said Dion wanted to see her cry.
Now I get what the vague meaning behind their conversation is.
Dion is obsessed with Roxana because he hasn't seen someone in their family cry and breakdown like that upon seeing the death of a sibling or relative (since they're all supposedly evil in the family).
Roxana teases Dion about his obsession with her, saying how he badly wants to see her despite Roxana showing him her disinterest/disgust, and Dion says she's not honest about her true feelings about her (which is, she's not only disgusted about Dion but that she's also afraid of him). Dion likes the idea of Roxana fearing him because that means it's gonna be easier to make her cry.
Also, Roxana mentions Fontaine and compares him to Dion (if they're just sexually frustrated about her) to inform Dion that Fontaine wants to bed her, in the hopes that Dion does something about that information (possibly to cause the 2 to fight, obviously Fontaine will die if he does fight Dion).
This is all just my understanding of what's happening. Dion could possibly be sexually attracted to Roxana for all I know, but right now, this is how I'm perceiving the situation.

The emperor is such a chump. He looks average and the raven assassin looks more detailed and has more personality.
Seriously, what an ugly man baby for a male lead. I'd rather have the Empress become besties with the concubines, it's still more interesting than the emperor slowly falling for the empress.

I agree but my sadist side of me wants the empress to bewitch him and basacly take over the emperors spot by making him her dog. Like, i want there to be a kinkyness between them cause of the erotica he was reading that the empress found in the beginning. I love seeing a woman bring down a man on his high horse, and wouldn't it be lovley to see the empress get her revenge on the brat by making him her dog?
I don't understand why people here are complaining that the FL is not a complete Mary Sue... if you want a reincarnated lead to be perfect and invulnerable with all her decisions in life I suggest you read "The Villainess is a Marionette"
How can the FL be perfect and know every step of the way when her character is a very insignificant side character in the 'Ramona's story'?
the original story that she read focused on Ramona who is studying in the academy together with her older brother and the first prince. How could the FL know what to do when all she knows is the fact that she will be poisoned and as an act of revenge, the older brother comes back home and reclaims his title as the head of the family?
Also, the people here who are complaining on how the villains are so bad at it... real life villains aren't blatantly evil at every point of their life, having a grey area where you get to think "oh, they aren't so bad" is a good way of writing realistic villains. Also, the way the FL isn't omnipotent in every problem in her life is such a breath of fresh air if you compare it to the rest of the popular reincartion webtoons out there where the FL knows how to manipulate everybody for her perfect revenge. I must admit though, I wish the FL was a strong female lead (in a sense that she at least knows how to fight or fend for herself, instead of being saved by men in the story).
I also like the fact that instead of a harem of men falling for the FL, the male leads aren't blatantly looking at the FL in a romantic way. The demon dude starts off seeing the FL as his little sister, the Count is a business partner and friend, and the 2nd prince is seeking political power through possible marriage with the FL... everybody looks at the FL differently, which is nice and new compared to the usual trope.
Maybe the people who are complaining are the ones who had to wait for updates and finds the story a slow burn and are losing interest, but for me, since I read a lot of other reincarnation shoujo webtoon, it's not problem since I can just busy myself reading other webtoons while waiting for updates for this one.
Hopefully, this webtoon will focus on the racism that I noticed between the demons and humans... it's kind of an interesting angle. Also, I hope the FL gets to meet Ramona and the first prince too since they're the actual leading characters in the original novel that the FL reincarnated in.
