These type of bullies need to come to America and see what will happen if they try that Lmaoo

Everytime I see that I’m like yall never been to my school district. I fought a few time cuz I’m a little on the bigger side and they made fun of my lunch ( which is just flavored salvi food ) I got hella pissed off so I started getting into fights. Needless to say
It annoys the crap outta me when the MC just takes the bullying
Mind you I’m only on like chapter 50 so maybe my opinion will change. But I’m so confused on the love for him T.T? Is it bc you guys are attracted to him? Like what he did in the original novel is too much for me to overlook lol. I totally get why he’s crazy from the way he was raised but his personality is so annoying and horrible, and he’s a good character but why do people want him to be with the FL? can someone tell me if I’m missing something lmaoooo
Thx for coming to my yap session <3
I personally think it’s because the girls yearn for something a bit “different” (even though in the end, he’s no different than any other black flag/debatable). Something about the ml being fucked up and a little bit crazy that’s attractive to those seeking a fantasy. I personally started this because the ml was feminine and I think that market is lacking.
Ykw that makes a lot of sense lol
I think this is a not deep analysis. What we like is influenced by our cultures, and most cultures uphold an ideal of a more submissive woman and s more dominant man. We are raised and thought, culturally, that those types of men are desirables. In real life they are not really that desirable but the ideal still stands and women just repackage it in fantasy, making a paradox not posible in real life. A bad man that is a good man with you. That what's really attractive about the bad boy trope.
Not what I think Astaire is thou
We still don't know much about the original story. For all we know it may have been a fanfiction or something. So far only some character remain true to their original actions. So far Astaire and plenty of other characters have diverged from the original story showing that the original story may not only not be true but it may not even exist an original story. It wouldn't be the first time isekais do this.
I'm reading another Isekai where the protagonist also tries to follow the original story only to find out that the book she read and thought was the original story was a fanfiction made by an angry fan.
If you ignore the original story premise, which I sort of do, when judging Astaire's character he is actually not bad. I ignore the premise of the original story because I understand it's there to raise the stakes for Kayla. If not we just get another story with a reincarnated girl who is super overpowered and does everything right. Here we got a story about a regretful sister fighting to keep his brother alive after failing him, and this time from a horrible existence too.
But aside from that, we don't know. The story hasn't stocked to the original plot.
I see Astaire as weird ass kid, and who wouldn't be if you were raised in seclusion without no one to talk to except your cousin and grandpa that sometimes come while constantly being forced to dress like a girl
