Some of y'all can't see the big fucking picture, not only was he abused by someone who he thought was his mother for 15 years straight but that same person made him murder his real mother! He goes through episodes on a specific day out of the year because of that. He was never truly loved! The woman he that loved him doesn't even love him for real and he knows that! So far all the women in his life have only used and abused him so of course he's gonna be the way that he is. The only woman that he seems to truly be opening up to is the FL, yes he was a dick but that is a defense mechanism. Even in the past if he couldn't see that woman didn't love him for real it might be due to the fact that not only does he have mommy issues but extreme trauma. You try going through what he did and not turn out the way he did. You can say that you won't but you are not in that situation. Your trauma can make or break you so for those of you saying "oh well that doesn't excuse what you did" literally it does! Was he ever properly healed from what he went through? Did anyone actually took the time to mend his mental wounds? He is only able to function as a emperor because he's holding in what's really going on, as a emperor you're not allowed to show weakness.

Yeah but it doesn't mean he wasn't in the wrong. He has a trauma, but killing his subjects for nothing is simply f**ked up. He should go to a doctor and not kill people just because he can. It doesn't excuse him. He had his reasons but really....he killed an entire family. In real life he would be in prison or mental hospital. He is really poor and I get it, but stil...

He didn't kill the entire family without reason the mistress framed them so obviously he's gonna punish them and at that time to storyline was different. You're biased because of what happened in the past if as you can see the FL has changed the storyline and is keeping her family alive. But like I said and will continue to say he has trauma and even in the past he trusted the mistress so to him her words was more than enough. She was the only one to show him love even if it was fake. If a villianess who has killed multiple people can be redeemed with a new soul why can't the emperor be redeemed? He isn't truly a bad guy

The second oldest brother is bitch made there i said it, has he or even the eldest took in account on how they treated her as a kid? She probably wished that shit because of her background and what she used to do before she came to that house. Honestly none of the family members truly deserve her forgiveness seeing how the owner of the original body passed away.

Yoo the high priest just called out the temple??!?!? How is he going to take the long pause and have people calling tia a fake?!? So is she the real one? Or both of them are the real one?

If you dont mind being spoiled, initially Jieun was the only child of god but when Tia returned, she too became a child of god therefore in this timeline, they are both real. However, towards the end Jieun sacrifices her power which was proof of her status as child of god, leaving Tia as the sole child left. In the end, the prophecy is still met.

Spoiler
I think I read someone saying in their past life, when Tia died the prince realize that Tia was doing a great job in the palace. Bec from what they showed us in tia's past life she's actually been doing everything even the empress work even though she is just a 'queen'? (Or am I wrong). And I dunno if it's real but the spoiler said the prince was just being brainwash like comparing him to her and how great Tia is.. but when Tia died he realize everything and also I heard he committed suicide in the past life? Am not quiet sure been reading so many mangas and spoiler

Yes correct, I read it too somewhere saying prince had feelings for Aristia which I get this lifetime there’s some scenes showing some kind of interest but from past life the only scene was the scene when she was pregnant and miscarriage, he looked concerned about her but then Jieun got jealous of them being together so he let her alone....and that was a very sad scene.

correct even though she is the queen and not the empress but still she was doing all the empress work but I don't think that's the reason behind his feelings. Actually I do believe if he had feelings for her everything went wrong after she tried to kill him thinking she never loved him and she only aiming to be the empress so he was hurt with just the idea that she tried to kill him with her own hands....well these are just my input of the plot.
Be In Touch

They were correct that the prince in both timelines loved Tia but their relationship in the first timeline was so twisted and toxic. That plus the fact that they were manipulated by ahem..... destroyed both of them. Jieun in the new timeline is different now because she also remembers all that has happened in the first timeline. I would say she's very scheming now because she has many goals such as proving herself against Tia, going in between Tia and Ruve's blooming relationship and getting revenge against Ruve (who abandoned her at the end of the 1st timeline) and the evil eviiiiiiil duke hmp hmp that demon (๑•ㅁ•๑)✧
Anyway, here on out it gets very deadly and at one point, Tia becomes critical so Jieun who had realizations by that time decides to sacrifice her child of god power in order to save Tia. To be honest, I don't think she's evil nor is she kind. She just made really dumb decisions but she learned from her mistakes and tried her best to make amends.

Here ....someone already wrote a very nice spoiler for us

So is it safe to say "sweet home Alabama"? Like i know they're not related by blood but they are siblings by title. Let me clarify in the beginning they didn't see each other as siblings but they became closer and actually treated each other like family. In this life her relationship with the brothers is better than in the past. Everyone sees them as brother and sister and although they aren't related by blood they are by title. People always referred as siblings. So there's a reason why people are upset about this. And in the comments some people are trying to justify incest in real life by talking about consent. Consent. Doesn't always make it right please remember that. And because this is fiction it also doesn't make it right.

As much as some of you hate the prince y'all know the back story
FAT ASS SPOILER
As some of you know in Tia's past life he was cold to her and only loved the juien (i forgot her name). The reason why he was so cold to Tia is because the old man that allen was working for was up in the prince's ear telling him false lies about Tia and her family. His daughter is actually Tia's mom and blames them for her death. The king is so affectionate towards Tia because she looks like her mom and he was suppose to marry her because he lobed her mom but her mom loved Tia's dad but he was suppose to marry the princess but it didn't work out that way. When Tia, the prince, and her mother were kidnapped Tia's mother OBVIOUSLY protected Tia because she's her child but the prince couldn't understand that because he thought she should've protected him because she was the only one that treated him nicely. So he started to hate Tia. Anyways Juien starts working with the old man to take control of the prince but poisoning him. The poison was basically to control him and slowly kill him. Tia who didn't show her emotions because of the way she was raised seemed cold hearted to the prince and Juien who wanted to live the best way should could should affection towards the prince. When you add everything up the prince was just a fucking pawn that was used for revenge and for power. Does that make what he did to Tia and better? FUCK NO! He r*ped, killed her child, killed her father, and KILLED HER! My thing is he isn't the same as the past him because Tia CHANGED, a lot of People hated/hates him because of what the PAST him did to her. Her past still is affecting the way that she functions now because she's afraid of dying. I'm glad she was able to change how everyone used to be towards her. The Prince has also changed for the better and Tia is noticing that. As long as she's happy I'm happy.
If you're gonna hate the prince still the ok but stop acting like there wasn't more to what he did to Tia. And the people that wants her to be with Allen are just as bad because he was willing to commit treason and harm her DAD (the man y'all so love). If it wasn't for the fact that Tia and Carsein got hurt he would have still sided with the enemy! The enemy is Zena he was actually the reason why Tia died in her past life! The Prince and Jieun were just his disposable pawns.

People have hate for the past him whereas Tia has fear for the past and somewhat of the present him. She's slowly letting down her walls as she sees him change but all people can do is say"I wanted her to be with Allen" or "I hate the prince" if we're speaking ideally she should be with Carsein he treats her nicely and isn't crazy. But since she change the prince's personally and attitude towards her has changed as well. And Granted all of the factors that were against Tia in her past life it only made sense for the prince to hate her

When Allen was first introduced I didn't like him because he rubbed me off the wrong way. He literally thought of harming her family all because her dad got bad vibes from him. He's a parent concerned about his ONLY CHILD. But people like him because he devoted his whole existence to her. He was willing yo preform treason! Tia and Carsein literally were hurt and he was siding with the enemy all because he didn't like the fact that Tia's dad and the emperor were against their relationship. But can you blame them? Carsein doesn't even overstep his boundaries like allen does!

Honestly I would love for her to take over the family instead. Like finally a female lead who doesn't need a lover and has her own title! People rather hate the prince instead of reading his backstory and I've posted it before and people STILL blamed him as if he wasn't a victim himself. But you can't change how people feel

Can we all agrees that the dress Mielle wore was ugly? Like the color itself is cute but the design is straight up ugly. Also why in the novel the refer to Isis as princess when she hasn't married the crown prince yet? I'm far in the novel and boy let me tell you, Mielle really is stupid and cain is a stupid creep

Pretty sure it was mistranslated. Or they couldn’t find the appropriate word for it. But it makes more sense to just call her lady. They call her a gongnyuh which is a title people would give to lady’s who have been promised to an imperial family. But she isn’t officially promised nor engaged to the prince it’s just rumors.

The prince is showing signs of being a yandere which is a deal breaker. At this point I have a strong feeling that Nora is the male lead seeing how the prince is fumbling his own bag. I see why Jeremy and Nora barely fuck with the Prince he wants to be the center of everyone's affection..... Too bad for him our FL isn't playing those games
I love our female lead's energy, she's not automatically falling him. She's constantly pushing him away creating a hole between them and he likes that about her. Anyways I can't see why anyone would sympathize with Rosmond (or whatever her name is) yes I do agree what she went through was tragic but she never loved the prince, and just like the FL's sister she also has her past memories. So meaning she CHOSE to go down this road and that's beyond me.
