That part about him feeling that he just causes those around him to suffer hit me in the kokoro. It was a touching scene indeed.
I missed this series so much. Definitely one of my favs. I had been holding myself over with the raws but yay the English is back baby.
Just cause you guys found this story frustrating doesn't take away from the fact it's well written and the characters have lots of depth and are multifaceted which overall made this story something I personally couldn't drop and read in a day. And to sit here and just insult Daons character just cause he frustrated you because you just can't fathom being in his shoes shows how little you understand humans and toxic relationships. I to got frustrated in some points but I think he's beautifully written character who shows how when we really wanna believe in something we'll turn a blind eye to almost everything. But yeah the true villain in this entire story without a doubt was the Hyung and while a feel a smidgen of sympathy for him in the end as I feel he's the only one without a good ending he doesn't deserve anything good in the end cause he's trash human being who messed with two peoples lives (3 if we involve the male lead but he didn't do much damage to him tbh).

Yall say just wait but I've seen the ending already and it seems whatever like it ended very quickly and from what I heard not everything was even adapted like... it's okay you guys can like what you like im also reading this cause there must be something that makes me stay even if I'm not sure what. But I'm being a 100% unbiased with this take as someone whose read alot of series with similar softness. I'm just a bit disappointed that everyone hyped this series up and I was excited as well when it came out only for us to be this far in and it feels pretty meh like I'm glad they got together but knowing what's gonna go down it's kinda trope heavy.
Theres cute a fluffy and then just boring my friend. I've read cuter ig. And the grandpa has tye most personality so far. And I get getting annoyed and telling people to go read something else but you shouldn't say that just cause someone has a critique on a series. It'd be different if I was being rude about it but I was just making an observation about how the male leads really aren't all that memorable. I also do get annoyed though at people who read series even though they hate the entire premise (the alphas circumstances for ex) but yeah I've seen the Korean raws and ending and it just makes me think that this series is going in very unoriginal direction.
