i adore this series and how relatively well the characters are fleshed-out but holy shit that was a screeching halt of an end i didn’t expect it to all simmer down so quickly???? in essence it kinda feels like we just reached the climax of the side stories and then stopped immediately right after :( was hoping to see md and chanwoo emotionally develop their relationship more for a more realistic portrayal but oh well, not too bad for a side story
sorry im more of a sucker for emotional bonds between characters as opposed to physical ones HHH so i couldn’t help but yearn for more feelinfs between them than purely sex you guys get me

km is my favourite one out there and the author has shown themselves to be really clever and mature about so many issues depicted within the story but sys dancing the line of sexual assault is just crossing the line let’s not endorse this pls (basis that rudolph was drugged and although they did make a bet, he never gave explicit consent to the touching)
but hopefully there'll come an arc in the story where sys and rudolph really begin to treat one another well and understand each other, and pick up from this event, in the sense that it won't go ignored and is well-discussed
we’d want to distinguish km from other manhwa that actively endorse noncon tropes, and see jt the way it was before these few chapters: Top Standard

Or you could just let others read and enjoy the manhwa without feeling like people trying to come for them. (〜￣△￣)〜
enjoyment is one thing but i think sometimes it overshadows the fact that these things shouldn’t be normalised man we have to be more aware
someone could enjoy this but at the same time acknowledge flaws and issues
i’m not coming for anyone, just putting it out there that something’s just not right
just to be clear i absolutely adore king’s maker, it’s my favourite manhwa out there but it doesn’t mean i agree with its representation of certain matters, namely the recent chapters. but other than that, it’s all good

I feel like it’s ok because it’s just a webtoon and anyone who takes it seriously in anyway is just wasting their time. This is what’s so fun about mangas/ webtoons is that you can read almost anything here, and just because it is in a manga doesn’t mean people will start thinking that SH is ok
