Rarely do I see a story where each character introduced so far are individuals. Not copy pasted caricatures of what you expect from a story like this. I also like the questions Yuri is thinking about. Like, did Lester not hire women after partnering with Yuri so that he could somehow isolate her and keep her, in essence, all to himself. It might not have even been intentional. Could be a knee-jerk reaction for him to keep her securely to his side but that isolation came with repercussions.
And hey, from a scale of 'What? You're a woman!? That's impressive,' to 'You have made a mockery of my trust. Off with her head!', I am deeply concerned about Yuri's secret identity. With all of them taking such serious concerns with honor and strict etiquette, the exposure of Yuri's gender could get really ugly. Heck, I wouldn't even put it past the Queen to believe she was manipulated all this while.
I'm gonna sit back and probably wait for about 10 chapters before I read this again. I MIGHT re-read it coz that art is so consistently good, I won't be losing out by seeing it again.

Might be overshare but my mom died of stage 4 cancer. She also contracted pneumonia. This hit too close to home. I had tears in my eyes the whole time reading this but it wasn't until I got to that point where I bawled.
That aside, I loved this. Love is great but sometimes the insecurity just gnaws into your bones. I can see that here perfectly. The fact that both of them were losing their confidence in themselves but never in their love for each other. At the end of it all, love triumphed because there was never really any choice for them but that. I'm actually at a loss for words as to how to portray their relationship but I just think it's beautiful. They're beautiful. The two of them together is beautiful. All their hurt, joy, pain, happiness, etc is beautiful.
It's 4:31 am and I just...can't. This was lovely.

Never even crossed his mind that he was impotent. Is that the right word? Dude can't have kids coz he mistakenly drank some meds meant for Navier to make it impossible for her to get pregnant. If I remember it correctly, Navier recovers from the meds only after she lived in the other kingdom for a time. Of course she gets pregnant and Sovieshu hears about it. Tut tut

Which makes all the shit Sovieshu did look so damn immature. I mean, there are real-life, bad, historical kings but man. To disrespect a Queen who loved her nation so much that worked to the bone for them. It does her credit that even her own citizens just wants her to be happy. Sure, some think she betrayed them by marrying out. But some do want her to be happy too which I found to be nice.
It seems a little silly but dude, IBS is no joke. It plays as a comedy here and I think it's hella cute. They're hella cute. That 'SEX' is also a win. Can't wait to see more of them :D
