Yeah, coz I was triggered by the story. I personally don't like the idea of them hurting their significant others in this way. I understand people make mistakes but they practically wasted the other person's time, emotions, mental health, and whatever else. I get that you can't control emotions but, as a person who's more on the rational side, I just can't accept hurting someone in this way. It's a low blow.
The only thing that makes me stay is the art. I like this mangaka's art. I'm not a fan of that oneshot they did tho of that one guy in the diner who was a cheater. (ب_ب) Cheaters are some of the most selfish lil shits in the planet.
That's why i thinking are you telling me they both hurt their current partners because they still have feelings for their high school love?
If they didn't love their current partners they shouldn't be together in the first place, specially the married one
Character growth I get but shit man. Maybe it's just that the chapters never left my brain but the trauma dumping Yahwi gave and let out on Jooin just stayed. I just hated him since. Plus the chapters of him being played as the victim??? I guess I'm just one of those who vehemently dislike him as a character. Reading stories truly is a mixed bag.
Him being dragged around despite the emphatic NO is traumatic in it's own right. But the fact that people around them are seeing it and not doing anything is making me extra uncomfortable. I keep on trying to give this author a chance. I think it's about time for me to close this friggin door.

The MC is a victim of his own success. I get what the writer/director is talking about. A family drama is one thing but a story truly tilts when there's grief involved. And, judging from the lines, the middle kid sounds like a cornerstone for the family. His death could either make or brake the whole thing. Very bold. I respect you, ma'am.
The middle in these scenarios you're right is the crux and are usually the one with most emotional intelligence so they are usually the most passionate and the most adaptive so taking out a promising individual would be so to speak the most jarring choice.

The mother, for some misguided thought, practically killed his soul oh so slowly until the evil baddie took hold of his body and lived as the doting son all those years. Her son has been dead for years. Ever since he was a toddler. He died even before he learned how to speak.

They are so damn annoying. I forgot about this mangaka's tendency of having them try their hardest to wiggle their ways into an established relationship. The boss being plain and simply disgusting. The woman for not understanding the word no. Two big turn offs. It's simple. If they don't want you, THEY DON'T WANT YOU. A rejection is not an encouragement to try harder.
