I like how this turns you on its head. First the disappointment at the death of the granddaughter. Then the anger on the grandfather for worrying about honor and not the actual death. It's such a breath of fresh air. And, damn it. I'm actually applauding the death of the staff and all those other mages. Let there be blood indeed.
With them dead, why'd she come back to the test? Is there still someone she wants to kill or does she want to take the test for the sake of Sharon? This is getting hella interesting.
Might not read this as I'm not as invested even from Omega Complex. It was interesting, sure, but the main characters from first story was enough for me to move on. Then I saw the reviews...
Might actually read it then. Interesting to note that we really just saw one side of a character from Omega Complex and then whiplashed into finding out he's not so green after all. Makes it kinda believable I guess since we don't really delve deep into Dohyun from the other story. In fact, in real life, you don't actually know if the people you're meeting are good ones until actually knowing them (case in point, irl me finding out a classmate from high school is now a registered sex offender ತ_ತ).
Interesting then to find out Dohyun has skeletons to hide. The issue for others was the storytelling and I could understand why. I hope they don't do what the novel did and introduce the crux of the drama so late into the story
I wish I could insert the meme of the guys in a couch cheering. Coz that's it. That's how I feel right now
