Not mature as in drama angst filled and sex ton of stuff. I mean emotionally intelligent characters like those from Another Typical Fantasy Romance, Bring the Love, and My Cute Beast. Need me some good reading with level-headed characters that won't break my brain.
Dropped Jinx a looooong time ago but seeing the comments pop up at main page has me wondering if author just loves forced sex scenarios. These comments are getting bad to worse after each major hiatus that I'm not even surprised anymore.

I’ve never really read Jinx, but liked BJ Alex at some point. Jinx never caught my attention and people keep talking about the art, but I don’t care for it, personally. I actually like the art from BJ Alex much better. And from the comments, I get the feeling MC from BJ Alex had more of a backbone than MC from Jinx.
So according to the comments, recent happenings are basically BJ Alex chapter 45 all over again? So, almost same story with asshole ML taking advantage of someone vulnerable? At least BJ Alex MC wasn't in such a desperate spot in his life when ML entered it unlike Jinx. Other than that, I know nothing else about it.
These villain ladies are so hilariously one-dimensional that there is nothing to really look forward to. I can't really explain it. The enjoyment is taken out by the sheer fact that the baddies are practically destroying themselves. I suppose there is irony in that but the 'bad bitch' vibes of the MC is rendered ineffective as I have yet to see her lay down a long-term plan and we are dealt with short-term slap-in-the-face comebacks that aren't really working for me.
Funnily enough, I've actually read the spoilers so I know how things pan out but still gave this a shot anyway. Might be a more fun read if I marinated it instead.
