Could be coz he's practically a wizened old man in terms of work experience but the power dynamics of having his old self having had the potential to hurt the other guy rubs me the wrong way. Probably because it clearly showed MC having no attachments to anything whatsoever. I don't think I'm explaining this well

The type of story where it's like that metaphor of slowly boiling a frog? Start off with cool water and slowly letting it boil and before it realizes, it's too late and he's capoot. Gruesome but it's the only description I can think of. A story like A Link Between Relationships where seme is manipulative and when uke finds out, he doesn't even care too much because by that point he already loves the guy.
Looking for a BL Japanese manga where uke is kind of an airhead. People making fun of him at work to his face doesn't get a rise out of him. He's pretty straightforward too and tends to offend others though he doesn't mean to. Seme is a long-time friend who's in love with him and they start dating when uke casually suggest they start dating.
