I think the killer of the mom is the one who has had a crush on him the "nice" brother . Theory one bad brother was probably in their village there already killing so nice brother went and killed mom so that mc can go live with him or lean on him . Theory two nice brother told bad brother about the village and probably said something like their talking bad about you . And I also feel like nice brother could care less about MC's people and was only "nice" because he's attracted to him

No the 1st ML, Emperor Garon, did kill MC's mom, he doesn't remember actually since he killed whoever had horns for fun (yikes) and no, the 2nd ML, the brother didn't harbor any really did love him, he didn't do any wrong to MC (as far as the main story goes)

I really enjoy this , I don’t understand why some people are being so bitter . It’s so adorable and honestly realistic in some way I can relate to ruby to a curtain extent
People are being bitter. Are they stupid or what? Honestly, this is the best manhwa I ever read . The author has portrayed everyone in such a realistic and beautiful way. I felt every emotion that my dear Ruby went through . She truly deserves the whole world. My Izek is the best boy.
Those who are bitter don't have the class to read this story which deserve all the attention and love (▰˘◡˘▰)
Honestly, I kind of see their point. This does feel like trauma porn and the plot is literally someone assaults her for no reason, Izek beat them up, and she gets saved. I do think the story is quite cliché and repetitive. I can name like 10 manhwas/novels that are exactly like this I don’t think it’s anything truly unique or special it’s quite basic. There’s nothing wrong with that but everyone has different tastes and preferences. I personally like the damsel distress trope and I really like Ruby‘s character and the way it portrays trauma realistically. I don’t think this manhwa is for everyone tho and I do see why people would dislike it or even hate it.
