Sometimes i wonder if that's because ilay raised in a rather normal family compared to many similiar semes with problematic family. Like, ilay is born crazy but his upbringing doesn't seems to give him childhood trauma and he also looks close with his family so he managed growing up not as crazy as he could be lol.
