His works also served as an introductory to Japanese gay manga for many international readers. Mentaiko Itto now focuses more on drawing illustrations for various LGBTQ+ media in Japan while many of his older works still remain unavailable overseas. Irodori Comics is proud to announce it has licensed the artist's popular Priapus series and plans to publish it under its Irodori Sakura brand.
