I was wondering if the people reading mangas on the website will get in trouble and face a fine or are we ok. I’m asking because this has happened to me before and my WiFi was cut off. It was not good lol.
Yea same, don't really think you should worry cuz coincidences like that happen. Had that fright a few times myself too. Kink's Awakening
But if you want a peace of mind for good, than consider downloading/buying a VPN or downloading Opera browser where the VPN is included in the incognito modus ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I had no idea this could happen. I've been reading manga on this site for at least six years and never had a problem. There are a few web toons that weren't translated after a few chapters because the authors or official translators said something and that's kinda it.
From a legal perspective it's unlikely (but depending on where you're from the law might be different). A copyright gives owners the the exclusive and assignable legal right over content. Those pursuing a copyright claim would be looking to prosecute the Individual that is profiting off of their content rather than the individual that is consuming the product. It's just like when YouTubers get copyrighted for having music in their videos it automatically effects them because it's their video you as the viewer only experience the secondary effects i.e not being able to watch the video. The people at risk are whoever owns the host domain for mangago and the translation groups that sent it. Do be aware though that unless you use a VPN it is possible for you to be tracked via your IP address by the legal authorities where you live.
I’ve been using the site for a few years and nothing so far *knock on wood* How did they find out? Were you just using these websites or were you downloading stuff? I heard they really get on your case for downloading so I try to not download drama cds anymore

I've been reading manga practically everyday on this website for years now, and I've never had any trouble.
