I quite understand Jooin at this point. Although in the past, Jooin and Yahwi didn’t define their relationship as a lover, they were like fuck buddy. But Jooin loves him, and felt anxious/ insecure at the same time. Jooin needed Yahwi’s affection and attention, and always doubted Yahwi’s actions and sincerity. I would say Jooin was quite a coward when he ran away from Yahwi and Cain. Anyway, it is a good choice as well that Jooin walked away from toxic relationship which he kept doubting his self-worth.
About Cain, I know he is a good person, and a better option than Yahwi, but Cain didn’t talk about himself and Jooin knows nothing about Cain either.
