Ml was dealing with a person with depression who witnessed his father's suicide and yet he failed to provide comfort and reassurance when that was what mc needed the most. I doubt mc would've tried to commit suicide if ml had just reassured him that the marriage and everything was fake and that he truly loved mc. He needed to treat him with patience even if mc kept going around in circles. Also don't really understand having sex with a person who isn't in their best condition and he needs to be more kinder to his child. Anyway at least this story was a bit more realistic than the ones which are like "I'll treat u bad but you'll still come back to me".
