1. Online Game Nakama to Sashi Off shitara Shokuba no Onijoushi ga Kita
super cute and so so funny! i reread this so much LOL and if ur not comfy w sex scenes, this one has none :)
short summary: the mc's "demon" boss is actually his online bff and they both have no idea until they decide to have an offline meeting!

2. Here U Are
oh my god i reread this so much too. it's so amazing aaaaa!!
short summary: when welcoming the new freshman at college, yuyang ends up helping out lihuan who he notices is both unsociable and 'rude,' but after getting to know him more, he realizes that lihuan actually isn't as bad as he thought

3. Sasaki to Miyano
this one is still ongoing and an anime is coming out in 2022! there's also a spin-off side story called Hirano to Kagiura (one of my absolute faves EEEEEEEE n it's about hirano n his roommate who has a crush on him!)
short summary: miyano is secretly a BL fanboy/fudanshi but has no interest in any romance or BL in his own life; but one day meets sasaki, his senior in school who takes an interest in him !

ok i love anything by machi suehiro but this one was my first by her lol it's so cute ;; my absolute favorite mangaka !
short summary: akiha, who's possessed by a fox spirit, is going to tokyo for school n staying w distant relatives (or family friends? not rly sure since i havent seen the raws); but basically a cute fluffy love story between "a college student who is loved by animals and a pure new student who is possessed by a fox!" <3

2. Inma-kun wa Oshigoto Dekinai
this was one of my first BLs lol and i always find myself going back to read it TT it's so cute and sweet aaa
short summary: an overworked corporate slave who can’t get it up is visited by an incubus who needs to get him hard (ok i swear this one is good idk how else to describe it LOL)

3. Sign
so so good! i honestly didn't get the hype at first but then after i read it... i understood LOL it's so cute aaaa i love them so much
short summary: in need of a job, yohan ends up working at cafe goyo and learns that the manager is deaf, so he's asked to learn sign language; but when the manager offers to help him out w sign language, he realizes that the manager's voice gets him hard

I usually recommend Here U are for a first timer. Here U are is Shounen Ai which focuses more on the plot and premise of the whole story. This was not my first BL but it changed much about my perspective of the genre. Here U Are tackles a lot of IRL situations.

I suggest that before you try smuty recs please read Shounen ais first and try to gauge if you like the genre.

tbh I dont like it now, it had a good plot at the beginning where she had some personality by reading her mangas and having a good relationship with both suho and seojin but now its focusing more on her makeup and her love problems

Same i also dropped it. I liked the art style and the mc was a bit annoying sometimes. Honestly tho the ML had the shittiest and weirdest personality ever.

Tbh the art is amazing in it's own way. But, I read up till chap 90 or so and then sorta lost interest to keep up with the updates. I feel like it just kept dragging on...
Also, the MC started to not sit well with me. I like strong protagonists if I am gonna read a longer story. This felt more like a slice of life love drama with an indecisive MC that never ended.
Not my style.
