"Screw the ROyal FaMIly"
Yep, screw them. I still have not forgotten, ...king, how you seemed to assume anything in your country belongs to you. And that you would be able to get anything, even if the one who owns it refuses to give it to you, thrice.
Hoooh, boy.
I know Gideon didn't mean it like that, but it sums up what I mean pretty well.
Imagine being so delusional you think you can do anything you want, to get anything you want and you don't even hide your assassination attempt. He really be thinking he's the main protagonist or something. Bro, you ain't getting away with this. Not to mention, Pell's already got the antidote, you dolt ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I'm sorta hoping g he succeeds. NOT FOR HIM TO WIN. But to add risk & drama. Things have been too chill. I want a sense of suspense & danger & something to add an edge.
Remember the demons and the original Pell.. Yea things are going to go downhill
Okay yes I get that but also, I want something that shows that she could also be his support when he needs it. I mean like as I said, I love all the love. She is so good for him but I also want to see that if he went down with like, let's just say he got fantasy version of covid or if he needed to get a break or something that she could run things too while he is on sabbatical. Who to get hurt hurt, but I want to see her leadership shine through in this version too, just like it did in the past people could see how she gets her sword fighting on. I mean like cool cool she doesn't have a full power but, does she need all this magic power to still be a good leader when he has the flu? I mean yeah he's recovering from Poison and something. I mean like it's such a good healthy relationship but I want to see things shaking up a bit. I said man, to live for the Dramatics in the fighting, I want to see her kick teeth in
Ok I get what you mean
I get your sentiment, but I think the most important thing to remember is that she doesn't want that in this life. She's already lived her life like that the second time and it was stressful, not to mention lonely. She knows she can do things like that, Pell knows, her friends and allies know what kind of person she is. She doesn't want to stand out, because she wants a peaceful life. It's what she's been working so hard for all this time.
It's good enough for her that there are people around her that know her this well. She shines no matter what she does, she's just not going to be able to fight by herself anymore. Not just because she can't, but because she doesn't have to fight alone anymore. It's something she still struggles with btw. If you want more direct action from her, than you're probably going to be disappointed, she's working from the shadows this time around.
Not to mention, there's common sense in this story after all. Things probably won't escalate as dramatically as expected.
Okay that I can get but you've got to understand, she can't expect to be taken care of and having him do all the work. Sometimes things happen in life where you still have to take up the reins and do the work. Now her husband is awesome but if he ever does go down, it would be good to see her capabilities in this lifelong. You know what I mean? Let's see her take up the mantle while he's recovering because he doesn't need to be doing all the work either, right? I just want to see things shake up a bit. See the Dynamics
And maybe we will, but I don't see her 'being taken care of by Pell', they are in an equal relationship. They are there for each other, to make sure the other doesn't fall. Maybe we will eventually get something like that, but I don't think it will happen in this arc. The more pressing matter is getting rid of the ruptures after all.
Also, they do the work together, it's not just Pell who works hard. She has a desk in his office and despite the 'adventures' they go on to safe the world, they also work to keep the territory going. It's all behind the scenes stuff though.
Besides, it's a fictional story, we're not going to have any say in how to story goes.
Okay we do see her being take care of by him. Of course in a very appropriate way, he's not like treating her like she's absolutely fragile but he does kill monsters while she's just being carried around him like a backpack. I mean like it's cool, she wants to get powers in order to be able to fight back on her own, and that's cool, but isn't he also dealing with being a commander of an army? Wasn't that also her job? Let's see her do that job too. I mean like, let's just see a little 50/50 and a little share by share. I want to see her take up the sword and command an army too you know. I want to see nights follow her orders and she starts kicking ass and taking names
You are not seeing what kind of webtoon this is. You have your expectations of Lithera, but that's not gonna fly with this. If you want that kind of action, this story is just not it for you. It's fluff, companionship and healing, not action-packed and dramatic. I'm sorry but that's where I hope this discussion ends, because clearly, our opions won't change, no matter what we mention to one another.
Can I have a say in this? If you think about it lithera already had kick ass and had knights follow her orders because in her past life she was a empress but died because of the prince. And she said she wanted a quiet life without politics and nobles pestering her. So if you think about lithera probably don't want all that plus she's probably going to kick butt in the future.
