I get it. The undermining of actual fucking rape is a trope in yaoi. I understand that questioning the tropes in this genre is just an insane rabbit hole. And that's why I won't get into it. I'll, however, express that with time and how the genre is growing and changing, the laughing off of sexual assault in the genre is reducing, and I hope it becomes non-existent.
