Pure conjecture based on personal observations:
I think (one (?) of) Brett’s inferred “fatal flaws” could be that he isn’t used to unconditional love, and so the fact that someone could care about him enough at the cost of themself or without something in return is something he has difficulty believing and/or coming to terms with. In Brett’s world, there seems to be an overall underlying theme of “you are what you can achieve.” In that privileged and wealthy society that Brett deals with, everyone seems to be measured by their accomplishments, and how useful they can be. It goes both ways, he seems to feel that HIS value is based on what HE can give them, and THEIR value is based on what THEY can give him.
If you think about it, the time when Brett used the safe word, there was virtually no benefit for Hayden to stop while he was in his rut. So the only reason why he stopped, was to protect Brett. In that moment, Hayden in his state of raw primal instinct, placed Brett’s needs above his own. So to Brett, it was a clear indication that Hayden truly cares for him. So that could explain why he went hysterical after the safe word worked cuz he didn’t know how to handle that fact lmfao. I think by the end of S1, Brett is just slowly coming to terms with Hayden’s sincerity.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk lmfao.

Honestly I hope Kian falls in love with Priscilla. They are one of the best suited couples compared to other manga I've read.
But if I was to pick the best it would be from “the duchess 50 tea recipes” tots recommended if u lookin for tea that is fragrant~ but has a deep flavor.
Anyways back on topic, I didn’t expect much from this manga, I was just bored their was nothing new in the main page, so I just clicked on a random one, checked the images and decided to read it because of the nice drawing style (mostly because it was in color). But the more I read the more I feel in love.~ It was starting to get to a good part, when suddenly a giant beast (my mom) came crashing down my door and demanded I eat dinner (which was delicious), which I strongly refused, but the horrendous beast threatened to kill me if I didn’t (jk, she told me she made ASPARAGUS and i very elegantly bolted out my room to the kicker to see my beloved) so I had no choice but to leave my book on hold.
After the terrifying dinner with the beast, I safely returned to my chambers to finish my precious book. But little did I know that my precious~ soon came to an end. I screamed with despair,(Cuz their was a cockroach in my room) and cried myself to sleep.(cuz my eyes were dry, don’t know how I feel asleep)
The End.
Thank you my dear audience full of middle schoolers. This concludes my performance I like to call “The boredom of the girl who didn’t want to finish her finish her midterm project that was due a semester ago.”

This. This is all I've ever wanted from a dom sub story. No matter if it's het or gay. It's not actually full on dom/sub but it has those aspects but it introduces the characters to them in such a natural, fun and lovable way.
The FL does those things, not because she generally likes them but because she likes HIM, and seeing HIM enjoy and show enjoying plesure SHE gives him. His reactions to plesure, the loving way she looks at him.
The way he feels secure and safe with her, enough to let himself be unrestrained and free to show his most raw emotions in front of her. To let her see him in such a vunerable state. To have such trust in her to let her do those things to him. Lovning her so much, that when he was so overwhelmed with plesure and emotions, he went to her for comfort. Hugging her tightly while he felt something he never left before. He was probably scared at that time, yet he trusted her with his body, and when he was so overcome with emotions she was there to comfort him.
Like it has everything. Consent, fun, love, after care, communication, no drama, judment free, need I go on? They are such a lovning couple.

I honestly was not expecting to be so invested in this story at the beginning. I've seen many other stories with the same premise but I think that this one is at the top because:
1- no annoying system dictating what the MC needs to do. While I love reincarnation and transmigration tropes, I never get fully immersed in stories where a system guides the MC. It feels too supernatural/futuristic and I always hated the "mecha" genre and this feels like an extension of that.
2- the projects that MC is involved in could be real life dramas and so, his career doesn't feel like "he gets a do over and then everything magically solves itself".
3- he worked hard in his previous life so when he got another chance, it's no wonder he did well. It's always off-putting when an untalented lazy guy gets another chance and becomes a genius overnight.
4- he is a good character. He isn't overly arrogant. He is likeable and hardworking. He never loses sight of what's important to him: his mom first and then his career and his love of acting.
5- it's not a face slapping-focused story. It's a story about his own growth and there is no real antagonist. There are not so great characters but no comically evil people.
That's it. It feels like I'm doing a sales pitch here lol hey author, where's my commission? Pay up!

I love how Yena and Myeong are so similar yet different.
1. While they may be actresses, but they don't have someone to actually love and to be actually loved.
- Ik Myeong's with the white guy but i still feel iffy about their relationship since the white guy seemed to be obsessed with yeon's image captured within his dead brother's photograph and Myeong was also just desperate to have someone to hold her. Yeah their relationship is progressing into an actual one but rn i'm just not 100% not convinced.
2. Both of their reasons to be actresses are because of someone else
- For now i can see that Myeong started to love acting as it is but initially she started to act because of her father anyways.
And yet, they're so different with how they treat their acting careers. Myeong learn to grow herself more....for herself. She learns more about herself and also acting skills by these arcs. While Yena grow herself only to spite Myeong, she doesn't add any intrinsic value to herself. That's why when her acting career's gone, there's nothing left of her.
Also about Yena's recent arc
At first i felt cathartic knowing Yena got her karma. But like at the same time, it felt so.....vain? It's like just because Myeong started to move on and Yena has now fulfilled her role as the villain in this arc, she should experience something bad just to make sure the villain won't have any chance to threaten Myeong's status quo. I mean yeah the author is currently doing good job in fleshing her final hurrah before we can move on to next arcs but like she could suffer by her past actions instead of just petty stuff like drink-and-drive (not underestimating the seriousness of the actual crime) but it just seemed so unrelated to her acting career, like acting is the core theme here. What if make her feel empty instead. Knowing Myeong could do on her own without feeling inferior to Yena would make her feel like "all this time i want to crush you especially with acting, the thing that you love. And now i can't even do it anymore?". Like make her feel like she doesn't even know why she act in the first place if she doesn't have any effect in Myeong and Director anymore. Like maybe she started to lose focus on her acting and somehow people also feel like Yena's not into it anymore and people stopped paying attention to her.. Like idkkkkk it's just i don't feel like drunk and drive is the correct punishment for her when there could be many more alternatives that could suit her more.
Disclaimer, I don't sympathize with her. it's just that i feel like if you want to flesh her out more as a character rather than plain villain, then at least make her departing from this story interesting

Okay, so he trained himself to understand who's saying what so I'm guessing at some point he'll realize what MC says is true as he can predict every couple and red flag accurately, which will be hilarious and part of the reason why I support mind reader because a) finally there will be someone who would understand what MC is going through and b) it'd be hilarious for him to have an existential crisis about liking MC "do I like him? does the world force me to like him? WHAT IS HAPPENING"
Also he is not a minor and on par with MC's personality so

If Yena hadn't been so selfish, she would still be happy. If she wasn't so selfish, she wouldn't be scared and help Myeong with her career. If she wasn't so selfish, she wouldn't be a homewrecker and still be friends with Myeong and Hyeongjae. If she wasn't so selfish, she wouldn't have ruined a relationship. If she wasn't so selfish, at least a tiny bit more selfless, she would have the ability to smile sober.

I love director cheon's arc the most because as myeong said, she finally feel like she gained something from her journey. Ofc the build up of her loneliness and loss of self esteem from previous arcs do help in who she is today. But idk the previous arc made her feel like she's getting swept up in all the things around her (which is realistic ofc because she only started to take this hard journey). But during this arc, i feel like she finally gains some autonomy of herself. Like finally i can feel like she's the main character of this story. Looking forward for more
