Does it ever actually become shounen ai?

Like confirmed couples or anything?

From what I remember it's just random slice of life with a blush once every 20 chapters to make you think "omg maybe he likes him!" and then the next chapter it's like nothing ever happened for like over 100 chapters...

Imagine taking the time to build up a world and creating an entire story in that world for everyone, but the only responses you get are "OMG WHERE'S THE SEX"

"YA COOL STORY OR WHATEVER BUT OMG SYS x RANDOLPH"

"OMG CAN WE SKIP ALL THIS AND JUST GET A KISS"

All that work....

I'm happy he finally cut off Minyul, but seriously? He keeps you trapped in a locked room and completely isolates you and prevents you from contacting anyone in your life? "Omg I can't be cold to him."

Also as much as I hated his behavior I do feel bad for Minyul. I can't personally get past the fact that he was being abusive in the relationship (not physically) but at the same time it's really sad how much he continued to care about Jungsoo even with years of no contact.
And I think the author did a good job ending it where it did. Like Minyul was obviously still upset and unwilling to end things, but when Jungsoo put his foot down that was that.
I don't normally care for the crazy ex's, but if we had a sequel with Minyul's growth I wouldn't be mad at it.

Obviously I understand why it's so much easier to like them now, but it's just so funny how there was a total 180 from where everyone every chapter was like "Omg wow I hate them both" or "Everyone but the high school crush is the worst"

Like I get it's supposed to be romantic or whatever having the big strong man protecting his waifu but Chiwoo literally just told Kyujin to stop.

He literally molested Randolph against his will. And made it blatantly obvious it wasn't "just a massage" or "just treating his wounds" like it was just straight up non-consensual sexual harassment and he ends up bragging about it to Wolfgang.

I hate that enough people like it so much that the author will probably deviate from the story the same way in the future.

Hopefully Sys will just stay away and we can actually stick to the real story. If you cut out all the Sys/Randolph nonsense literally nothing is lost in the story. It's such a randomly forced in, totally irrelevant sub-"plot" for no reason. Sales I guess?
