This whole story literally started with Hwi harassing Param. It doesn't make it better because Mr. Han did it, but Hwi did the same, but was also a jerk about it.
I don't think he's emotionally manipulating Param. Literally all he does is treat him with kindness??? I haven't looked at raws (and please don't spoil), but generally I don't trust what people think they see happening if they can't read Korean to understand what's actually going on.

Hwi did blackmail him which was wrong but it came from a place of him thinking Param thinks he is above people like him. He then thinks back and admits he was clearly wrong. Hwi has been more honest.
With Mr. Han, he wanted to continue playing with Param. He is now moving forward because Hwi has made his move. With Mr. Han, it comes off as less sincere than Hwi.
Like first it was William drama, then it jumps into the Amanda yandere yuri flashback arc, now it's all about Miley and William again... What next? They find Jasper, he gets 1 chapter and then it goes to more yuri with Miley and Stella?
