You know what? Just let people say whatever they want. This is the internet. No need to shut anyone down. Let people say "b-but its just fiction. I love it when heroes in stories come back to their origins and bask in the treasure that is satisfaction from acceptance. On a side note, read The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon if you're into a female warrior who's like Pauliana. Just a heads up though, it's long and full of ordeals, but all worth the read. Next is Dark Angel Trilogy by Meredith Anne Pierce, and another is Bardic Voices by Mercedes Lackey.
