I think Veramude's doing this to help Siri. So she won't be blackmailed again or to get off the guilty feeling because of the spy thing immortal wannabe emperor.
PS: Alkerto's (or whatever his name is) getting in my nerves. Like dude, we all know you like her, but please respect the relationship she have (had lol) with Veramude. I don't think, you acting all jealous will help solve anything.
