Yashiro might act strong but he is very pessimistic when it comes to love and relationship. His whole life, he doesn't know love. The only love he has ever experienced is a hopeless one-sided one. He believes himself isn't worthy of being loved. If he just simply tossed aside all of his past trauma and accept Doumeki just because he loves him, then it's not Yashiro. He has been advoiding love whether when it's directed at him or when he fell in love with Kageyama.
