dont mistake me, I liked the manhwa but i felt like it was completely rushed towards the end. Plot all over the place (with also holes in it and things stillleft to be cleared). I literally stared at my phone for 5 minutes because i couldn't process that the manwha was finished lolll
pls just let them have a character development, I can't bear watching kim dan get bullied and treated this way.
Ofc he doesn't react because he's scared of jaehyuk but he should also have at least a bit of regard for himself??? why do you, a grown man, let another grown man pour soda on u???
My thoughts on the manhwa! (Contains spoilers)
btw I really like historical manhwa (they're my favourite genre) and I've read plenty of them (also novels).
First thing I've noticed is that the relationship and the feelings between the FL and the ML escalate kinda fast but this could also be only my impression since I read lots of slow burn things.
(Also I want to add that the art is really pretty but sometimes the proportions are wrong)
First thing i've noticed about the ML is that he has (ofc after all his experiences and traumas) SEVERE trust issues and he overthinks a lot although his behavior starts already to change towards chapter 14 even though he keeps his fake personality.
After taking interest in zay, he wants to make her his and starts to show obsessive behaviours towards her.
Aspeh starts to hurt himself to make zay worry about him so that she'll stick with him and won't leave his side.
With the progress of the story, we are faced with a big character development from aspeh's part while zay doesn't change that much except from when she decides to protect the ML, that's the only development she got(at least that's my point of view)...I usually am not a fan of weak female lead or female leads who don't have a lot of character development but I got pretty invested in the story so I didn't pay it any mind.
Also, the translations become HORRIBLE from chapter 73 to chapter 78. They get better at chapter 79 just like in thr chapters before the 73th.
I really liked the ending and I can say I really enjoyed reading this!!!
I don't know if it's only me but this is all really confusing, I still need to process I what I've just read.
The place of the story changes almost every page, I still have to understand who the protagonist is. Also, BIG lack of logic...If you're a time traveler why would say that to someone who lives in the past in such a carefree manner???
I'll wait for further updates and I hope that my doubst will be cleared...
