So, she knows the original story(novel), then got mad at the ML cause he was obsessive? Then why did she hooked up with him then? To get the rights to the throne from him, and then leave him? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Just gonna drop this early and not summit myself with "ok, lets try another chapter to see if it gets better" thing I always do. Plus+ the plain face art is not helping.
It's your choice whether or not to stop, but I think it would be a shame to stop because of a misunderstanding.
It is true that the FL read the novel during her first life, but the book ends when she marries the prince and becomes empress. In her second life, she actually lived 5 years after the end of the book. She only discovered Everett's obsession after their marriage and was therefore unaware of it.
I don't know what kind of stories you like, but I really enjoyed this one and would recommend giving it another chance.
In addition to what Yadrey has already said, what I really like is that the author knows very well that she's writing a fantasy romance and is very good at using the codes or making fun of them (and a bearded ML is a bonus).
I'm sorry for the long answer, but I love this story too much to leave you with a misunderstanding. I can't guarantee you'll like it, but at least, if you don't, it won't be based on a mistake.
I mean... I don't know what chapter you're in but this manhwa is my favorite. The couple is super communicative, the story is not cliché, the secondary characters are not just for decoration (they all have a story and throughout the manhwa, several of them express their feelings in an emotional way), etc.
Sometimes I also thought about why she chose to have a relationship with the prince but after reading the manhwa I kinda understand. We are talking about a character who has already died twice. Throughout the manhwa she expresses several times how difficult it was for her to accept that she was in a real world and not just in a book. No wonder she chose the prince. After all, if you were inside the body of the main character of a book, if that character had a happy ending, of course you would enjoy that future because it's the only one you were sure of.
hmm... The Prince and his people died from the blue-fire of the Saintes after she was killed.
So, how come all the bodies or the Palace don't looked burned? Cause it was Holy fire?
Anyways, happy that the Saintes ain't a bch. Finally!!!!
But I'm a bit disappointed that the Maids-at-Arms didn't last at all in the attack. They all died so easily. I was expecting our FL to at least hold her on a bit more than the rest, since she was a close (in proximity) guard for the Saintes.
Anyways, I like we got to see a bit of what happened in the past life and they didn't wait at the end of the story on a extra chapter.
IF I recall the book properly, they weren't elite soldiers (at least Valia didn't think herself as one) and that they did put up a fight. However, they were outnumbered and ambushed. -> take with a grain of salt!!! It's been A WHILE since I read this info
I think the manwha adaptation just chose not to expound on that detail (w/c I think's A-OK tho)
I see, thank you. It did cross my mind that it was an ambush. So, it wouldn't surprise me if that really happen on the novel. They do like to change or cut out some parts from the novels.
