Yes, the art looks a bit different in the very beginning but I guess they were still discovering their style. Reverberation has a lot of twists and turns and a complex fantasy plot. I could follow it just fine, though, and I couldn't put it down (I read right as it completed). It's my favorite from them. The Promise follows it and they said they wanted to do another in the same universe, perhaps with the little boy from Reverberation.
