Everyone please tell me. According to your experience, what's the top most popular BL manga/hwa/hua. Doesn't have to be what's popular now, but definitely been popular before.
not sure but, if we're talking about classics, maybe junjou romantica (idk any manga before this)? but it doesn't really get attention here. back when i first started reading yaoi, ten count was the most popular for me. it will even have am anime adaptation this coming 2020. killing stalking, bj alex, and a guy like you are one the top list too, if we're talking about popularity. they are also still receiving a lot of attention even if they are completed.
still iconic series though lol. it's gonna be part of the OVA '6 lovers', along with Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku, Ze, Ameiro Paradox , Ten Count, and
Renai Ruby no Tadashii Furikata. though i'm not sure how they're gonna fit it in a single OVA if ever lol. maybe we're gonna get more than one, i hope. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Love is an illusion and if u hate me so we’re really really popular. Junjou romantica and sekaiichi hatsukoi are amazing, they’re definitely really popular. I know ten count was huge. Killing stalking is everywhere, if it’s yaoi lots of of people think to killing stalking. Finder is an older yaoi, it has lots of chapters and it has lots of djs. Really big hit there too. Love stage even had an anime, it was really popular.
I just read recently a webtoon of a cat that turned into a guy with the power of love. Then I remembered there was a manga like that I've read years ago.
The cat turned into a human, but the human he liked moved away (I think?) so he got closer with the MC who moved in and that's pretty much all I remember.
I think the manga had more stories, but this is the one I remember.
MC is being harassed by a ghost. He then calls out to the ghost and asks him why he's harassing him.
Ghost says he fell in love at the entrance ceremony (i think?) but got into an accident. He has unfinished business of not getting to confess to the person he likes.
Then he said he could leave only if MC has sex with him. So they did and he left. Turns out ghost was just in a coma and then confessed that his crush is MC.
I don't remember the kind (yaoi/shounen-ai). So MC has a (i think younger?) brother and a childhood friend.
One time MC saw what appears to be bro and childhood friend kissing, but of course that wasn't the case. Then he started crying in front of the two and he didn't know why.
Stuff happens. MC and childhood friend kiss. MC wondered why it felt like they kissed before. Turns out one time MC was sleeping, childhood friend kissed him, MC woke up and kissed back then said, "Right back at you."
That's all I remember. I think it had around 10 chapters? Some of the stuff might be disarranged or something.
Not sure if it's here, but it's about two best friends (both girls). They were childhood friends that did everything the same as each other. Same hair, matching keychains, matching everything. Then, they started middle school (?) and MC didn't want to do it anymore. So, her "bestie" got angry and made the whole class turn against her. MC got new friends, but her "bestie" got them against her too (temporarily). Eventually, MC had a stable group of friends and they do fun stuff together, making the "bestie" jealous.
"Bestie"'s logic is, only she can be mc's friends and only she cares about mc. If MC does something which makes them not alike, then MC should be punished. She's crazy af and lowkey yandere for MC.
MC had a mop and short hair on the cover (her matching hair with "bestie" was long hair with bear-like buns).
There's also a classmate that MC kinda had a crush on, but "bestie" pretended to like him to get everyone to ship them together and make MC feel bad. MC doesn't really feel bad about it tho, since she's kinda friends with the boy. The boy's also one of her reasons to go against "bestie" in the first place, since talking with him made her realize that she didn't want to be a copy of her friend.
