This is the only manhwa I've read where I'm happy for the main couple but cry for the love rival/antagonist. When I saw Jihyun cry in chapter 5 I just couldn't help my tears falling. Yes he raped Chiwoo which was unforgivable so why do I love his character so much? He's a ruthless and violent man but he cries because of a broken heart. He just loved Chiwoo so much because Chiwoo was the only one who reached out to him, who treated him like a normal human being when he was all alone without anyone who cared for him. But he loved in an extremely unhealthy way, and with the bad environment growing up he felt it was okay to be selfish and possessive towards Chiwoo and it ultimately led to the unforgivable act of raping him.

In the end he did decide to let go when he realised his actions have only been tormenting Chiwoo, but even after 5 years, he still couldn't and cries over a love that will forever be unrequited. He still loves Chiwoo after all these years and has never stopped loving him despite Chiwoo hating him and god I just want him to move on.

I really love this author for being able to create an antagonist that you have every reason to hate but end up feeling for him. I get that there'll be ppl who hate Jihyun, but hating him to the point of not wanting his happiness is a bit much.

Guys, it's fine to hate this chapter, but PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE AUTHOR'S TWITTER TO COMPLAIN. I follow Oryu's twitter and when she tweeted about this chapter's release there were english replies criticizing her for it (even though they knew it was a "what if" scenario) and from what I saw it was only the international fans making noise. The korean fans remained supportive and gave nice replies. She also replied to a hater saying that this is just FANSERVICE, she never intended for it to be 3P, and that if you don't like it, DON'T READ IT. Period. There are fans out there who like Jihyun's character and want to see Jihyun x Chiwoo so please don't be selfish and let us enjoy this little bit of fanservice.

Sorry for the rant, it just pissed me off so much seeing those replies. It's already hard enough to get stuff released in english, and with the international audience's response and bad impression, the author might get discouraged from releasing english versions of her future work.
