Unpopular opinion or not but she should've ended up with commander Kahu and not Dylan. She fell in love with Dylan but they almost had the same character infront of her so, shouldn't she have fallen in love with the second male lead or maybe it's because they spent more time together? But nah, she wasn't in love when Dylan was already tamed so, time wasn't a issue. Ignore me, I'm probably being biased because I like second male leads more.
However, I still don't understand how she fell in love like, it doesn't make any sense, it was so sudden and felt like it was just written for the sake of adding romance. And the story around the chapters where she went back to Dylan was not well executed. It was like their inner thoughts were written by a teenager.
Not to mention, her being easily manipulated by Dylan...
The author should've also made her wear pants, etc. more instead of gowns because it suited her character and backstory of being trapped and being uncomfortable better. Details, you know, details. Her thinking Dylan was tainted when he was like that since birth was so funny because how did she not catch on Dylan's two faced character when one of her qualities was being a good judge of character.
Except the romance/lover part, the storyline was good.

Honestly, they acted like they had this huge ass age gap that I just automatically thought it was 4-6 years, and I never realised it was just 2 years

English version doesn't really capture Korea's honorific culture that well (but honorific language is hard to portray as its not really grammatically compatible with English). In Korea, you usually would use 존댓말 jondaenmal (honorific speech) to someone older than you (unless you have an established close bond or are chill siblings; Eunpa doesn't use 존댓말 really, but he does use the honorific title of "hyung"), and that isn't just using more polite words, but rather an entire integrated grammatical system where verbs are conjugated differently in respect to the hierarchy.

So in the Korean version, Ian will sometimes lower his speech to 반말 banmal (casual/informal speech), and it's a way of linguistically making himself on Eunsan's level or putting himself in closer proximity to him relationship wise. In the rink scene, he doesn't just call Eunsan by his name, but he also uses banmal. That's why Eunsan was EXTRA irritated. Ian lowered his speech to provoke him haha.

So it can be a bigger deal haha

A 4 year age gap in your 20s is nothing. 6-7 years is an age gap. +8 that's when i think of big age gaps

I'm mixed. Am so happy i didn't grow up in my father's country. The whole hierarchy for its own sake ain't my thing. Respecting your elders and superiors at work/school (and here I mean teachers/profs not necessarily older students) is something my mom's culture does too. But not quite to this extent

Mc is so stupid and naive. One can have a personality like him due to their upbringing but he was living alone for a decade and learnt absolutely nothing. He has no self respect and it only gets worse. The ml? Yeah, he belongs in the trash. They're always like, "He/She is my bitch." And it's not even cool. He has that typical misogynistic mindset. And I just know the attempted rape and the trauma will be brushed over like nothing.

So cute and perfect for each other. We deserve more stories like this.

This is such a great story! Strong fl who kills? Yes! I love her character so much. The ml is also a green flag who respects her, I also like the second ml's personality. Assuming the last panel, black and long hair man being the villain, he also seems to be interesting. Every side character have their own little charm, I kinda like everyone. And a historical manhwa in which the fl is wearing pants? Yes, you have my vote.

wi wi February 18, 2026 8:42 pm

It feels like the author wants to drag on the story. The brother wasn't mentioned a single time in the beginning and now, out of nowhere, she suddenly has a brother? Umm... Yeah, no.
She's also focusing less and less on her business/making money. Why is the title,"Forget about my husband, I'd rather go make money?" if she wasn't even going to do it? I don't even have a problem with the romance because it's cute but plot isn't plotting.

I already complained about the art style once but did the artist change or the author suddenly became racist or something? The ml and the others were clearly brown in the start and now? They're whitewashed. The fl is white like a ghost, her skin tone matches the bedsheet/ceiling white colour. She didn't tan one bit? I know korean beauty standards and all but wow!

They were always gonna drag the story out. If it ended here the attraction wouldn’t be as great, authors push their work out for a reason and only 100 chapters for this masterpiece would be an embarrassment waste, this has been in the books for a while I’m assuming and we will probably get another 100 chapters of some kind of conflict between her and Silva empire now that her brother has returned to her and to her father. Don’t expect a manhwa to ever end, you’ll only disappoint yourself I fear

I'm already disappointed. This masterpiece is slowly turning into the typical manhwa.

Why are you mad? I’m excited, the writing is great and just bc the pacing is a little slow, it will be a satisfying re-read. I just went back from the beginning, and her brother was mentioned in the very first chapter. The writing is intricate, it’s interesting, and funny and the art is awesome. I love this manhwa and I’m excited to let it marinate and come back to rediscover things I’ve forgotten. Aren’t those the pleasures of this kind of hobby?

Ohh, was he? It's my bad then. I'm not mad, just disappointed. I already stated my 1st reason and the other reasons are in my parent comment.
It's not like I hate hate this manhwa, the concept is interesting and the freedom of clothes, etc. are rare to be seen in historical stories.

Yes ikr the fashion and diversity was the first thing I noticed ab it, like the marquess and his turban is something you also don’t see a lot of. I love how doting the male characters are towards women and how kindly they are treated it’s so lovely to see outside of the normal western traditional historical manhwas that circulate, but don’t get me wrong I love those too :3

I like the art and the story so far but she literally looks like a child. Her face never changed. What's up with shoujo authors always making the fl with big doe eyes and a baby face? The black hair princess is so beautiful. They could've also made her appearance even a little more mature.

wi wi wi November 27, 2025 2:14 pm

The shopkeeper's/owner's comments are disgusting. "If he's your fiance or lover. I would pick the style men would prefer." After that, she said something along the lines of, "It would make you look more delicate and fragile." The fact that she's suggesting this to a '17 year old' is dis.gus.ting. It's set in the European historical time and everyone is automatically brainwashed to think like this but it's still vomit worthy. This is why I want to read a story in which the author changed something, we don't need to read/face harsh disgusting reality in every fictional story.

I love the mother and the red hair side character. The redhead's chaotic energy is such a good plus point to his overall personality. He looked like a cotten candy/cloud in this chapter, such a cutie pie!

Woah! This was such a good read. The art suits the vibe of the whole story so much, it's exceptionally beautiful. I can't forget to mention the plot and the characters. It's so interesting. I like how they have a connection to each other. This manhua is a hidden masterpiece.

Wow! I love this story. The main characters are also lovable. The art style, adding colour here and there is so romantic. It adds such importance to those particular moments. I just have one issue, why are they treating/addressing him as a lady? Yes, his father passed him off as a woman to make him the bride/sell him but I thought they were aware of his gender.
