i think that he author is going about it the right way. It’d be more weird if jaekyung went to dan and started acting caring and showing he has feelings for him right away. It would feel forced. Jaekyung is changing in baby steps. First, he saw that when dan left he was angry. Then, he was feeling irritated because he kept thinking about him. He doesn’t know what the feeling he’s feeling is. He misses dan. it’s making him mad because he doesn’t know what he wants from him. So he tries to keep dan close.
