The ones who said ML isn’t going to run the old “I don’t want to commit to you but no one else can have you or I’ll start acting a fool” trope. I want to make sure you’re up to date on your eye exams, if you’re missing signs as obvious as these I hope you aren’t driving yet.
The reason it’s not great ML isn’t disclosing that MC is actually a namer (specifically his) is because now that we know they are going to develop feelings for each other/what is most likely a positive relationship, once it is revealed (I’m guessing by MCs parents in some pseudo humorous way like “you’ve always had this birthmark”) MC is going to immediately overthink it as “ I never had free will and we never had feelings for each other, we were only driven together by the words on our skin just like all these posts on Reddit said, just like all these media outlets said, I can’t trust my feelings and now I certainly can’t trust YOU.”
That’s why it’s bad.
Also, please note, withholding information IS considered deception. Deception can be a form of manipulation, however manipulation is not necessarily deception. “All squares are rectangles”, you know? If he was actively manipulating, this would be gaslighting MC into thinking he wasn’t a namer. However, since he’s doing it indirectly, I’d say it’s just on the side of deception.

I love everything about this except for the “I have the memories of your dead lover” because I haaate the substitute trope please do not let it go that route and have them develop feelings some other way and NOT off the back of the other relationship
When an author is fond of rape, because even when it’s unnecessary to the plot or the MC/ ML are “happy together now” there’s always going to be that energy in the sex scenes that give mad SA discomfort.

ML is absolute garbage (we all know, I’m not even getting into it) and MC is mad irritating.
Every 5 minutes he’s like “I can’t live like this, you don’t own me, I have to escape!” just to switch up the second ML does something that’s semi decent (not even ABOVE decent).
Like are you fucking dense, every other sentence the ML can’t hold back from LITERALLY describing you as property who has no say in anything that happens, confirming you’ll be the side piece when he’s married and (SPOILER) you can’t leave the fucking house which has 24/7 monitoring. But sure, worry about when he gets hurt and ask how busy his day has been, stupid ass.
I’m seeing comments checking people for forgetting about the brother (rip angel) like he wasn’t only given an honorable mention and no screen time 12,347 sex scenes ago. Get your feet off these people’s necks.

If Guwon really isn’t human, maybe it’s connected to the title. The second time the King defies the gods and evades his punishment or “death”, he returned to the mortal world to live out the remainder of his life. The first time he trapped Thanatos and as a result no one could pass over (similar to what we see here with the living dead.) His failure to see fault and repeat his mistake a second time was when he really pissed off the gods and received the boulder rolling decree. Maybe Guwon doesn’t have his memory because he defied death on a deeper level than the regular humans surviving the apocalypse and he’ll be receiving/has already received a cross to bear to resolve the apocalypse or protect what he cares about.
Same fucking tired trope with an uke who is gonna let himself be walked all over regardless of the perfectly fine 2nd ML and the I-don’t-want-to-commit-to-you-but-nobody-else-can-have-you asshole seme. How creative.

But I can’t stand this MC. Like something about him bothers me so much yet I can’t put my finger on it, because I actually appreciate how the author sets up the realism of a transmigrated individual handling memory fade + the struggle to get back to their loved ones and original world! I think MAYBE it’s the unrealistic way he’s so desperate to get home only to turn around and fall in love within the drop of a hat despite telling himself every five minutes “do NOT like this guy because he’ll fuck you over in the plot” or “you HAVE to follow this plot line to finish the story and get home” just to fuck up the story.
If the MC (ML??) didn’t suck so bad this story would have SO much potential. I fucking hate when they stick the personality of a toddler into a grown ass man and try to play it off like they wouldn’t get their shit wrecked immediately in the real world. The poor fucking seme has so much going on and dumbass balls mcgee over here is in lala land thinking about sex all the time and trying to WALK UP TO YAKUZA HQ like it’s a 7/11??? I also thought the stitching around his vitals (pulse points/ligaments) were potentially tattoos since they are drawn pretty simplistic (no signs of tugging or tearing.) Sutures are usually removed/dissolved after a period of time unless it’s for a cadaver that experienced trauma. Which would imply he’s undead, a fact everyone else would surely pick up on. So unless that’s normal for the post apocalyptic world they are in (cognizant undead and unaware undead) then he’s potentially just an overpowered human/human experiment.
Also, I adore the theory correlations for the myth of Sisyphus. I’m excited to see how it falls together, wish we got more mythology works.
I do agree that baby ML deserves sympathy as all children do as they are not to be trusted with major life choices. We can essentially look at the spirit as a very old adult who deliberately entrapped a child into a slave contract. Now, for some of older MLs choices in how he treated MC, I agree responsibility can be taken and MC deserves better. HOWEVER. The decision ML makes at the end of this season??? CONE OF SHAME FOR ML; you can’t tell me this man can’t afford a psychologist to work through this break up instead of doing what he’s done. It’s about to become so problematic because of his desperation.
That mama knows what’s up, that man was garbage so vile it couldn’t even be incinerated. Good fucking riddance.
