The sudden appearance of floaters is an early symptom of retinal detachment. (Other symptoms are flashes also knows as photopsias, blurred vision and gradual peripheral vision loss)
Tatara is way too young for having floaters related to age.

This is so worth reading. The story doesn't focus on the present alone but tackles the past as well as hinting to their previous future. Amazing! Can even be considered as a fluffy isekai story with a hint of dark blood. :>
