The world building is good, the setting is good it's not from real world but i see the author do research about how skeptical people about cars are and carriage is still widely used which is interesting and how misogynistic society still. But i just can't get pass how layla and matt saw e/o with Matt already of legal age. If they meet before that I'd try to look pass it, but seriously he's 18 and Lyla is 12 that's a toddler in my eyes. I can stomach black flag/red flag but ig this kind of trope where the male lead is alr an adult is one of my ick. The same like cheating, noncon is worse than cheating ofc but cheating is something I can't stomach in fiction. I'm dropping this, but the art is beautiful and the world building is so well thought
