* Nobles would rather live unhappily than get divorce because according to them divorce is beneath them and it began as a means by which wealthy commoners divide their property.

* Ines mentioned early in the story that nobles would rather kill their spouses instead of divorce them. To live peacefully, a married couple who doesn’t get along would choose to live separately. For example, one in Mendoza and one at the family estate.

* Married couples are known to have lovers. This is practiced by both men and women. For example, Marchioness Barca who attended Ines’s social gatherings in Calztela has lovers and her husband has lovers. Same for the empress and emperor. Their lovers can also be other married people.

* Most nobles look down on love. Ines even gets embarrassed when Isabela mentioned she heard she and Carcel share the same bedroom. Ines’s mother’s letter to her in Calztela had also advised her not to live like a lover with her husband Cárcel. i have a question i just started this but is the girl (the main lead) not supposed to be canoncially attractive cuz i find her super pretty but that other girl is calling her "like a japanese horror story protag" in the manhwa?

Imagine someone asks you to recommend a manhwa with a greenflag ml and you recommend this… and the first thing they see is Carcel getting caught cheating and the first few chapters are just him laying with other women how do you justify that plss

Wanted to ask someone who read the novel this:
I’ve been seeing mixed spoilers so I’m not sure, but will Ines’s indifference towards carcel when they were children be brought up and shown once again this arc or were beginning chapters in season 1 the end of that? Cause some people are saying they’ll bring up Ines’ treatment towards carcel once again while others are saying the mom’s mention of Ines having no interest in him this chapter was the end of that, so I’m not sure.

Any recommendations on school life series like this ? I’ve already read alot so my options are limited and recommendations are welcomed though !

Man. I just realized that Charin and that other guy look the same probably because they came from the same "womb of origin Kleio" or share the same genetic father. But Charin got thrown away because he's a receiver and they didn't want guys like him.

Also in this world guys apparently can give birth without resorting to an OmniBreeder(like bombsinhisballs guy) and the guys can be born with a uterus for pregnancy.

Personally, I understand why this manga has such a high rating, and it deserves it. This was one of the most realistic shoujo I've ever read. Meguro's character development was so great it's like I saw a totally different person at the end. If you really read this manga properly, you can see why Meguro only experienced true love with Kanata. When I read the first arc, I never shipped Kunimatsu with Meguro, their relationship looked like it just wouldn't work out.

People need to stop hating on Kanata. Unlike countless other shoujos, Kanata was a good hearted guy from the start. Most people in real life who had his kind of home life and past would grow up to be much worse, yet Kanata was still a good guy. Sure, he was a playboy and stuff, but that was only a mask, it was never his true self. Meguro never needed to lose herself to "change" him, they both changed each other and found true happiness. Kanata helped her to overcome her insecurities and become stronger, and she helped him to break out of his cold shell and do the same. That's how a healthy relationship works. It was a roller coaster of emotions and I definitely cried and laughed a lot.

I loved this XD but I hope she resumes back into her normal persona afterward lol XD
