What's yall excuse for reading on an illegal site?
here's mine: I live with my parents who are strict and watch how I spend my money. I have my own bank account but they monitor my spending. (So I just don't use my card haha). My parents also make me ask them if I can buy anything online. Idk how to explain to my parents that I want to buy manga online bc they think spending money online is useless. I've tried asking to buy some chapters of stories but my parents don't understand and think I should "just buy a book instead. its the same thing" like no mom. I wanna read yaoi and yuri... umm so ya. :)

Frankly, i don't like finding excuses. I've been reading mangas online for 12+ years and probably will continue doing so. I'm working rn, i can afford chapters, i buy official releases (of series that I like), but i still spend my time here. Why? Because I don't have endless money. Imagine this site as a library instead, someone bought them one day and decided to let other people read it too. It has been this way since a long time ago. People who support, will support, and people who won't, won't ever spend a single cent ever.
Sorry for ranting here, but don't worry about it too much. Personally I don't understand why some people like to demonize us budget readers. I pray you guys will get rich someday and able to afford any series you want to support.
Yes I agree. I do try and support authors by following them on social media, reading/rating their works on legal websites when the websites give you free coins/ink/etc. The only website I can actually read the chapters is W33bto0n. In the future I'll buy chapters legally, but to stories that I like and want to support.
Hello, I'm thinking of making a comic and I still can't decide what plot I want to go with. I'll put some brief plot ideas here and you can tell me your thoughts.
1. Tags: Drama, Tragedy, psychological, crime, horror, and super natural.
This story will have gay sex, but it's not a yaoi or bl.
This story is in the perspective of a murderer. The murderer is named Aoi and he is an idol whose now rising in fame. Aoi is seen as a kind, sociable, cheerful person in front of the public and thus is starting to become quite popular. (Aoi is also very beautiful). There'll be a demon in the story, hence the super natural tag. To sum it up, Aoi gets himself in a tough situation and begins to be a prime suspect in recent murders. The story will follow Aoi as he descends into madness. The ending will be sad, but well deserved.

This story is in a occult leaders perspective. I honestly haven't quite worked out all the details, but I'm thinking of making this story in the police perspective.. I'm still not sure.
The main character (the cult leader) is from England and his name is Conner. The story takes place in the victorian era, and Conners family is very powerful. Conner is bisexual and is very much a playboy. To the public Conner seems like a irresponsible, immature, rich boy... when in reality hes actually quite sly and manipulative. Conner is also sociopath, fun! The love interest is the one that Conner in check and stops him from doing the horrible things he does in this occult, (and trust me they're bad).

This is a Happy story... kinda not really. This story will have a happy ending!
This story is about superheros. The villain (our mc) is dating the Hero. Wait! before you stop reading its not cliche just wait! As I was saying, The mc (Haneul) is dating the hero. I haven't worked out the details, but the hero betrays our mc in order to seem more heroic. They have some sort of fight (which was supposed to be fake just to make things seem less suspicious to the public) - and within that fight the hero murders the mc. The mc (Haneul) comes back to life in someone else's body and is now a hero who works for his ex! The fight they had took place three years ago and now his ex is seen as someone great.. people now idolize him and hes one of the most popular hero's. Haneul will get his revenge on his ex, and along the way he finds a new love who treats him right! This story is obviously a work in progress, but hopefully its interesting so far.
Please tell me which stories you liked, and which ones you maybe didn't. If you'd like more in depth description lmk and I'll post them. If neither of these stories interest you, why? And what stories do? I also can't post my art for some reason, could that be due to an old desktop style?

For me the Third story seems the most gripping.
Optional, but the hero could also have been a little toxic to mc in the past. Things that without the mc realizing it were harming his mentality, possibly like a desire to be a hero himself.
I would also be intrigued to see how the mc changes/heals. Even if it mostly starts due to the new lover.

They all sound amazing. I personally lean towards number 1 and 3.
3 because I really want to see more reincarnation webtoons similar to the korean female lead trope but with a male protagonist (think TCF or Reincarnated as the Omega Villain in a BL Novel). I think I’d love to follow Haneul’s revenge against his ex!
I’d also really enjoy 1 because I was a huge fan of KS and it just sounds hella interesting to watch the MC descend further and further into pure madness, maybe even trying to justify his thoughts. Since there’d be supernatural aspects, I’d love to see something like Perfect Blue, where the line between fiction and reality (for Aoi) gets more blurred as time goes on.

honestly it's hard cause they all sound interesting but the 1st is the one that would immediately catch my attention. following the pov of a murderer sounds really cool and i'd love to learn more about the motive behind his actions. the 2nd one sounds interesting but not a huge fan of fixing toxic people with love trope and i don't think it would be satisfying for him to get a happy ending after all the stuff he's done. i could get into the 3rd one but it depends on execution. revenge stories are hard to work on in general, you have to make the ex detestable for the revenge to be satisfying but not so much that he'd become a one dimensional cartoon villain. also the love interest generally ends up bland cause there isn't enough screen time to flesh out their relationship. if you could overcome these issues i'm sure it'll turn out great

In the second one, I meant that I might make the story in the cops perspective/the lovers instead of Conner's. I'm not sure who the lover should be, a servant, another rich boy (or girl it doesn't have to be shounen-ai), a follower, a traveler, a cop, ugh the possibilities..

It's definitely got an interesting plot and it's actually something I've always wanted to see hero x villain, I definitely think it was smart to make the hero kill him to seem more heroic and how the villain comes back to life as a hero, in my own opinion I would make the revenge a very hard one on the hero but this is your story I'll leave it up to you.Also I like how the old villain now has a new lover. May I ask who this new lover would be like a hero, villain, high up or just a normal person ? If you have taught that far. I hoped this somewhat helped :)

The "hero" will be suffering big time. I hate when revenge stories don't have satisfying revenge, or when the mc gives up bc "love is all they need".. tsk. I haven't decided who the new lover is.. maybe a villain who admired our mc? Maybe a reporter that caught the hero doing something bad? Someone whose anti-hero? I'm not too sure yet.

Hello, I'm thinking of creating a manga styled comic. The genres of this particular story is: Horror, Thriller, Crime, Psychological, Tragedy, Yaoi, and drama.
I have posted (well tried to let's see if they actually show up)- The character designs in my album. If you could give me feedback on this story and the art that'll be a huge help to me.
Story plot (rough idea):
It’s a story from the “ukes” perspective. The “ukes” name is Aoi and he’s an idol. He’s very innocent looking and is rising in fame. He’s known to be the angel of the group he’s in. He’s got a very outgoing and cheerful personality. No one knows about his backstory or where he came from, he got recruited when someone took a video of him singing in an underground subway tunnel. His video blew up because of his angelic voice and his beautiful appearance.
Unbenounced to everyone is that Aoi is a serial killer that takes pleasure in seeing people being disenchanted by him. Aoi has a messed up backstory, so he finds pleasure killing people who idolize him. I won’t get into the backstory bc there’s a lot to cover. The backstory doesn't excuse his actions, however it gives you a better understanding of the character. Aoi kills people of any age, gender, sexuality, race, etc.
Aoi has been killing people since he was 17 (he’s now 21).Aoi was scrolling through fans comments and found one about an occult that summons demons. Not really believing it, but still wanting to try out the horrific sacrifice methods, Aoi decides to have some fun and go along with the cults "ridiculous summons". Aoi decides to go to the cults meeting place. On the outside it looked like a club, however in the far back in the basement was the cults "hangout", of course Aoi used an allies and covered himeself up but no body seemed to care anyways. To Aoi's surprise those summons were actually legitimate. A demon (seme number 1) appears before Aoi with a deal that Aoi is to supply the demon with victims (aka his food) so that Aoi himself doesn't become food.
The demon and Aoi sign a contract that basically allows Aoi to get the help of the demon using his powers and in exchange giving the demon food. The contract ends when Aoi dies or cant keep up his end of the deal.
Aoi keeps a steady number of people he kills but recently he starts to decrease the amount of people he’s killing which now throws the demons hunger off. (A lot of people asked me why he stopped. It's not deep he just started to get busy with his work that he had to slow down)
The demon warns Aoi that if he doesn’t start killing more people Aoi will be the next victim. Aoi starts committing more murders, but since he’s rushing them he starts to slip up. Aoi, the idol who’s never had a rumour or scandal, the idol everyone loves and adores, starts to be suspected for recent murders. Dun Dun Duuuunnn
I have a way that he’ll get out of it but his reputation gets ruined big time. That’s just the beginning of the plot, there's a lot more. The second seme I haven't given much thought yet, he'll be a mix of bad and good though. He's not on Aoi's side but he's also not against him.
I’m thinking this won’t have a happy ending, just that Aoi is literally the worst human ever. This story wont have rape because I hate that and its stressful to draw. Aoi is a power bottom, and this isn't a love triangle.
What I'm hoping to accomplish is making a suspenseful story that shows a character slowly going insane.
Please, please give me feedback. Ideas to add to the plot, constructive criticism, even if this story somewhat Interests you. Thank you for reading this. :)
Lemme honest...Not really my cup of tea . But it's interesting to read, and i read till the end before i realise it.. LoL, it's rare plot for yaoi...so it might click. I am sorry i can't give you a detail feedback cuz i don't really know anything about (horror/crime) genre...

i agree with keiji its a unique plot and seems interesting. many yaoi readers are getting tired of the same old stuff so this would def pique the interest of some. i cant see the character designs because your album doesnt show up when i click on your account. so yeah the plot is good the crucial part is execution. be careful you dont make it too fast paced but also not tooo slow. my thing with mystery and murder cases is that they sometimes seem to drag on so yeah be careful with that. good luckkkk
I'm invested by the story. I would totally read this since the plot is my type. I think it would be interesting if the ending the mc would suffer(?), would fall in love(or the devil would) or death. But it's up to you so goodluck! <3
