It does seem that way - ever since Easter - perhaps the holiday threw them off schedule - but I am happy to see the newest update. Things are getting steamy! Yippee!

By the way, for everyone complaining about the length of the chapters, I just went back and counted all the pages - the average length of a chapter (including filler pages and scanlation credit pages) is 23.88 pages.
If we factor in what a bad year sensei had last year due to illness and loss of her most avid supporter and family member, I think that getting 19 pages recently is pretty much a standard.
No one counts the filler pages. We all know why the chapters are shorter, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's a great story and we want longer chapetrs.

I hope most of the complainers are just expressing wanting more because they love the series and not seriously whining about the length. Yamane hasn't retired and ended the series even though she's been doing the series for almost 15 years, she's been ill and her father died. I'd rather have short chapters serialized every 2 months than have to wait for the tankobon, then another 1-2 after the tankobon is published in Japan to get an English version. I'd rather have short chapters rather than wait 4 years for an English tankobon.

Thank you for the update! And to all those who are complaining about short chapters, this has been examined several times and the average amount of pages for each past chapter is actually 20 pages. Sensei has already said, on a couple of occasions, that the few chapters she did complete that were over 25 pages just about exhausted her, so please, EVERYone, stop complaining about tne length of the chapters, what we are getting is actually the usual amount of pages. If you don't believe me, go and check the total number of pages for each chapter!

Kind of getting tired of this story. Not even sure why, but it seemed to start off so well, then just kind of tanked. Plus, I really am not that fond of the art. Oh well, thanks for the update.

Hmmm...I don't remember if he was told that him mother was Killed by Ywach (or Bach or whatever he is being called again) Hopefully this is not going to be cliche, but the way the evil bastard seems to echo all of Aizen's foreknowledge of events seems to pint to a tired old trope.
agree, but ichigos father says that when ywach revived his took all of demiquincys powers and their lifes with it, ichigo and urys mons were half quincys so they die (well ichigos mom not but after she lost her powers the hollow came an killed her without resistant)

I don't recall reading it...but if he knew that Ywach was responsible for his mother's death, then that would be a good motivator, and if he was not told, then his joining with the quincys as an actual convert would also be kind of justified. *shrugs*

I hope so...but he always kept saying that he did not like Shinigami because he was a Quincy, so it is kind of uncertain as to his motivations. But he is pretty smart, so hopefully he is there as a spy.
