I don't understand why he feels he needs a 'day off' in order to have sex ... most people do not take time off work to have a personal life ... kind a large plot hole here

    Lily September 28, 2015 10:59 pm

That is a very common thing in Japan. I read it in many many mangas. It seems something in their culture. They work so hard during work days that they often do sex when it's the day off.

misekatte September 22, 2015 9:00 pm

Yay - new chappie! Thank you scan team! And some new development in Kojiro and Shiros' (dare I say it???) love story!! And now we get to see more of Shiros' backstory (and maybe Kojiros' as well? - speculation here ....)

    Hanne September 22, 2015 10:40 pm

Yes! There was a sort of confession here, wasn't there? And that little staring contest?

misekatte September 18, 2015 5:04 am

I saw a comment earlier from a troll, with a string of replies, but that whole string (plus the original nasty comment) seems to have been deleted - not just hidden but deleted ... is this something anyone else has noticed lately?

    Reality bites September 18, 2015 5:11 am

    That is new.

    AW MAN September 18, 2015 11:08 am

I'm glad it got deleted - I don't know why but we get so many trolls in this fandom, it seems people feel the need to throw abuse at each other for no reason : ( and I hope they continue to delete them! Best to nip it in the bud.
I've even had abuse thrown at me for one of my posts on here and it makes me genuinely nervous to post!

    That is new. @Reality bites

Do we have mods here now? *Waves at possibly imaginary mods*

    misekatte September 18, 2015 3:11 pm

Not sure what happened - but someone was ranting about VF fans having no life and using abusive language - I was glad to see it deleted too ... so maybe there are mods now. *waves hello - and welcome to the madness* :D

Why does Kurotsuchi look like a mutant sunflower? Or maybe a triffid/sunflower mix? He has always been bizarre but this is really odd. And the Soul King's body parts working for the enemy? What is with that?

    Another Anon August 8, 2015 1:22 am

If you forgot, a whiiile back, Kurotsuchi made his first appearance with his fluffy armor. It may have even been in the anime. Then, the soul king is working for the Quincies because if you look, Pernidas has the same eyes as Ywhach(I call him Bastard so i forgot spelling). Ywhach is the Soul King now, essentially because he's taken over the palace. That's why Pernidas said that "the bad guys said Kurotsuchi is the enemy"

Ah, I have not read for a while, so I am playing catch up and I am still questioning Kurotsuchis' fashion sense after all this time ... and Pernida - does have the same eye as Juha - I did see that but kind of dismissed it in all the strangeness going on ... (I call him something less flattering LOL) (did you know that is actually a real eye condition? I saw a photo of one recently ...) I guess I can understand how the hand is working for the enemy ... Thanks!

misekatte August 6, 2015 11:10 pm

These three stories were really interesting, the plots were a little different from most manga for a change and the characters were fun to read - with fluff, angst, some mystery and a nice side of smut!

    Mameiha February 13, 2016 6:22 pm

Well, said. The mangaka put a lot of their love and attention into this story and it shows.

misekatte July 28, 2015 7:55 am

Chapter 6 was like being sideswiped ... it came out of nowhere and went by so fast you did not even have time to get the license plate ... LOL
But the rest of it was cute and fluffy!

misekatte July 26, 2015 5:03 am

Interesting manga, especially with all the science ... but is it just me or is that guys head reeeaaallllly small?

misekatte July 16, 2015 3:24 am

Okay - so I will see if anyone agrees with me ... I think there are two plots going on in the recent chapters.
One with Aaron/Sudou - where Sudou embezzled good from Asami with Aaron as his contact and Mayu as his inside person (at the brothel) who is possible the link between Aaron/Sodou and a higher up boss.
The second, as we see. is Sakazaki who is in collusion with Mikhail for some sore of plot against Asami (perhaps trade routes) and they ae going to recruit Sodou (who Sakazaki has always lusted after Sudou)??
s this crazy or what?

    misekatte July 16, 2015 3:26 am

Excuse the typos - my cat walked over my keyboard and clicked my mouse before I could proofread

    tokidoki July 16, 2015 6:05 am

Well, that is interesting. Yeah, I can see where there might be two separate incidents here. Could the man that Aki was staking out (the Congressman) be involved in the plot with Sudou/Aaron?
And trade routes? Or maybe he wants to know how Asami got a hold of the casino deed? (although it seems like he waited quite a while for that if that was his ploy - trade routes sounds more reasonable)
Cats? Mine likes the warmth of my laptop and sleeps on it frequently - even when I am using it - so I understand totally ... LOL

    gladeNot July 16, 2015 5:20 pm

Nice plot summation. but are the 2 plots connected ?Aaron called Asami Sudou's boss he thinks Asami cheated him with Sudou's help(maybe) that's what I took from that scene .I could be wrong.

It is not known why Mikhail is in Japan. He may not be working with Aaron and maybe there to find out info from Sudou for hs own self protection. Aaron and he could be rivals. ? i'm dreaming of a plot that would bring all 3 of them together again. Feilong, Mikhail, Asami. under attack and having to fight together.

    misekatte July 16, 2015 8:03 pm

Not sure if the two are connected. I kind of doubt it, but I think the Congressman is Aaron's boss, and Sudou's. (regarding the missing/broken goods and the trade routes)
As for Sakazaki, I think he has been working with Mikhail - perhaps trying to get some revenge or maybe he is also interested in trade routes and the two plots are just colliding at the same time? I don't know - it is just a feeling I get.
Bringing Fei back would be interesting - I have always liked something about him (just not as a pairing for Asami - LOL)

    Yup! July 16, 2015 10:42 pm

In my mind, If Asami was really in trouble, It would be feilong that would help him. It was Asami that saved Fei from his father. He would not appear to be with Asami. If he showed up, it would be to pay back this debt, and besides where Fei goes so does Yoh. Fei and Yoh are as much of a couple as Asami and Takaba in my mind. Prop. won't happen.(Feilong coming back)

This was not exactly what I expected to read, and was quite disappointed with the overused trope, characters (seme - mostly) that do not generate any kind of positive emotions in the reader and unrealistic story. Will not return for any updates on this.

    Anonymous July 10, 2015 8:51 pm

But it said it's completed ^^ so no need to return anyway. And it was indeed disappointing.

yaoi in general is unrealistic as the events are up to the mangakas imagination. Although, ones like these which are realistic, readers tend to purse their lips. This is a classic case of Stockholm's Syndrome. Look it up and learn something.

I know what Stockholm syndrome is. Don't tell me to look something up and learn - I find this trope personally distasteful. I don't really want to read about someone who smiles through abuse and still loves someone that they only fell in love with through letters. (By the way falling in love with someone through letters is NOT Stockholm syndrome - that only occurs when you have actually been their captive - there now YOU have also learned something)

Do you plan to chide everyone on this thread who did not like this manga - or did you just want to single out a one person?
And, for the record - this is not classic Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm Syndrome is when someone develops feeling for the person who kidnapped them. In this case the victim already had feelings for his captor beforehand. And this person did not say anything regarding rape here - just that the trope was overused, which may have caused you some confusion? Personally I did not like this manga either, as many others are also saying.

    RadioK0N July 11, 2015 2:16 am

Actually no, it did not 'fly over my head' - and that is a Dalek - if you are referrng to my Icon - not a Megatron (whatever that is). But you obviously failed to understand that this is not Stockholm syndrome, and that is not MY reason for disliking this manga - I did not state my reason for disliking it, if you actually bothered to read my comment. Please try reading my comment again before critiquing - All I said was "Personally I did not like this manga either, as many others are saying" And that is all I will say, so you don't need to respond. Whatever dude...you seem to miss the point of what I wrote. Instead of trying to create an argument, don't respond to what I write...it doesn't matter since it is hopeless to get angry at words from someone I don't even know. Not everyone is going to like what you or I say, at any given time in life. Because of that, I don't care if no one likes what I have to say. They have a right to disagree or agree but that doesn't mean that we can't have a discussion. People aren't lemmings....if everyone agreed with everyone else about any conceivable idea, we would all be lemmings just waiting for our turn to fall off of a cliff.

Yeah, the letter thing was the author's way of saying: "See, see?! It's not Stockholm Syndrome!" In my opinion it wasn't a very convincing attempt, though. It only added a "taking mommy's place in order to feel connected with her" obsession to his "not-quite-but-close-enough" Stockholm syndrome, LOL.

The open minded part, is why I will read something and then decide if I like it or not. I rarely let what others say about a story influence what I read.
