so ummm.. what michael been doing really off my logic I'm so frustated..??
he liked sehyun, ok. but then his prison friend raped sehyun, and this got him mad. ok. but then he force sehyun to his friends. uhhh, WHY? and then he wanted sehyun to pay him back (all the rent, food, etc) so he has to work for him. uh, ok.. then he got stabbed, also told to kill himself by his mother. ok good. but instead of facing the person who stab him or confront his mother, he just want to kill sehyun. uhhhh, ok? then he disapeared for a while in the story. ok. and the he showed up again apparently still holding the grudge and this time asking sehyun to love him. WHAT, HOW, WHY.
sometimes a story has an explanation by the author, be it explicit or in puzzles, be it logical or forced nonsense.. but this... is mega nonsense??? i just honestly lost it???
ps: michael was somehow popular with his friends, and not just one person think he is kind. like sehyun's workmate who first think michael is a good person (I think he got him a job). and sehyun's boss, who also think highly of that sob. does he have two personalities? or what? was he trying to show his mother he is a better person? i just couldnt analyze this

not in team hwaryun, but hey, living in a toxic palace like that, where do you think he as a child can copy kindness? then somehow grow up to be kind and loving person? even his own mother told him cold is necessary. his twisted and manipulative side are the things that keep him sane in that place and away from being murdered (by other noble family/prince).

It told us that when yeonwoo was small, he'd cry and smelled like cigar at the same time, which meant he was in the black room. Maybe there was 'weird party' by weird fancy people being held there regularly? Or, dunno why, but crazy mind of mine thinks that he was assaulted in there with his parent's permission? Because the clues was always about groping. The main characters also have scar on their hands like some occult thing (they were forced to join in?).
Then the young yeonwoo and jun murdered those people together and hid the bodies in the black room (chop off their hands that always grope them). Yeonwoo's parents may also be in there.
Just my theory, though.
The missing cigar friends of the old man is also important thing, imo. But I cannot think of anything about it.
This is definitely a fun read!!

Let's gather what we know so far.
Apparently san and hwan should have known each other. This explains the first time san met hwan (very first chapters), geumsun asked him if he know what he saw. But they both forgotten. (Even though in my opinion: hwan kinda reacted a bit).
Second, san lost his memories. Remember that hwan's power has something to do with memory?
San was able to conjure a bow and arrow when fighting hwan. It was stated that those kind of weapon was a bit ancient/traditional by 704. (Cmiiw). I dunno why but I feel like that's important.
Then, yama said that if hwan recognized san, he would NOT attack him. Why? Because then he wouldnt be an enemy to hwan? Or was san too powerful (remember i said ancient weapon) that hwan would just back off? Did they fight once in the past???? Is that why they put san to guard eunjae?
Last, they have the same white hair. Uh, maybe not so much the same, but still....
Please feel free to add more!
